Most comfortable sock
Someone gave me a ankle pack of these as a gift. After trying them out a few weeks I jumped on Amazon to but a bunch more in long and short. These are easily the most comfortable socks I've even worn. They could be a bit thicker but are Not overly thin either. Worn them out clearing snow and didn't freeze the toes. Will always measure a sock against these. I'm writing a review about a sock, they impress me that much.Edit: 2024 - I ordered more and ended up receiving these ultra, thing, easy-to-rip, almost knock-off in quality, things....... These definitely bring my 5 start raving review to a one star. Don't cut corners to save a buck or whatever you did here, this thin version is absolutely the worst sock I've ever worn but the good news is, they wont last long enough to suffer long. Holes wear in the heal within weeks. Completely disappointed in Hanes!

A bit thinner than I expected
It is hard to figure out socks on-line and even though people comment in their reviews, it is sometimes difficult to put their remarks into a comparative context. I decided to give these a try. As far as fit and comfort "star" ratings, they are less stretchy and a little tighter than I am accustomed to, but not enough to consider it a concern--just different. The commenting format asks about durability, but after only wearing them a couple of times, I have no opinion. I like the appearance of them and am satisfied with the purchase.

My Favorite Socks
The fit, the warmth and the fabric are perfect. Ordered the 6-9 size as I take a size 10 shoe and have a narrow foot. These fit snugly and don't bunch up or roll around. They are thick and warm and stretch. Very durable (I have ordered them before). Note that are are warm especially so on hot days (which I do not get a lot of). No need for slippers in the house! FIVE STARS!

Good Socks
I purchased 6 pair so I could try them out, perfect fit very comfortable. So I orderer 6 more pair, Knew they would be good because there made by Hanes.

Not made as they once were
Got these for my husband which is the exact brand name as his older ones and they are so very different now ~ Too thick, too tight, not as comfortable as the older version. He rarely wears them.
