Q: Those who purchased knee brace: I see reviews mention thin legs, but can someone comment on the fit for a larger woman? I wear a size 14

You will love it. I am similarly sized as you and it is the only one I've found that I don't feel is too tight for my build.

Q: For the knee brace, does it slide up from your foot or does it just wrap around your knee?

The brace slides on then has straps to wrap around your leg.

Q: is there only one instead of a pair?

Yes it is a single brace but well worth the money I love mine so much that I bought another one a few days later

Q: Would this still work if the inside sleeve was cut out, and you just used it with the outside wrap part?

I believe the inside sleeve helps keeps it from sliding down. Maybe if you make it tight enough.
