Some good, some bad
I am a 4th year apprentice,,in the trade for 5 years and I have went through my share of linesmen pliers. I have had Klien mostly in my later years, but went through an assorent of other brands. Some good, some bad, some so so. I can tell you that for the price, which I believe I paid 21-22 dollars for these, and the multi use of this tool, that Channellock, has hit a home run with these pliers. I will be honest "I love my kliens", but after receiving this pair of pliers and using them in the field I have to say that as long as they keep selling these for the price that they are, I will be sticking with these. These pliers are every bit as sharp and heavy duty as kliens pliers. For the price you get 3 tools for less than the cheapest pair of kliens. You get with these pliers a fish tape puller, a crimper and a pair of side cutters. Also they in my opinion are higher leverage than your average pair of kliens. These pliers are larger than 9 inch, and they are very strong. I most definitely, recommend that the Channellock name become a heavy hitter in the world of linesmen pliers. I give it 5 stars +!!

If you are tying wire for concrete forms....
This is really a useful tool for tying wire. Smart features that clearly make it effective. The spring that keeps the jaws open make it always ready to stab into the action. The hooked handle makes it stay in your hand, carried facing down. The opposite straight leg is actually made to slip into a loop of wire, so as to twist the loop tight. Even the serrations in the jaws, are orientated to provide grip when pulling on wire. Well made, here in the USA.

Quality tool at a great price point
Excellent set of Lineman pliers I was weight these up against the various Lineman pliers from the cheap knock offs to the Klein tool versions. I chose to go with these due to other reviews, experience with channel lock and the great price point. I now also own the Klein 2000 9 pliers. Both are great quality tools but for the price you can't beat these channellocks. No wobble, or loose feeling in the joint, great cutting edge strong grip and great leverage. Would highly recommend to others looking for more quality tools to last longer.

I like these better.
I am an ironworker who normally uses Klein pliers, but I seen these on Amazon and figured I would try them out. I like the bent handle and the quality I do recommend these for anyone who has to cut or tie any kind of rods or wire.

Very high quality, focused on performance over apperance.
Compared to a pair of Klein Lineman's pliers I'd been previous using, these pliers seem specifically designed to be superior in each way you'd use the pliers; However, I would say that it seems a bit less in terms of durability and longevity. For cutting, the hammer and anvil style cutter combined with the higher leverage rivet allows for smoother, and easier cutting, and additionally the pliers are able to open slightly wider than the equivalent sized Klein pliers, allowing for better bites on larger cables-- However, these pliers do not have the same hardened blades the 2000 series Klein ones do, so be wary of cutting things you shouldn't be cutting. For gripping, the Channellock pliers have much more aggressive knurling compared to the Klein Lineman; it's almost a middle point between the Lineman and Ironworker pliers Klein makes, which gets you a better grip without destroying softer wires. If they're anything like their tongue and groove pliers, the teeth should last for quite a while. In terms of weight, it's notable lighter than Klein's pliers, which may be indicitive of slightly worse durability compared to them, but in light use as a hammer it seemed to hold up fairly well. The dipped handles are fairly standard; They've got a glossy finish that's a bit slick compared to something like the Klein Journeyman handles, or probably the Code Blue handles Channellock makes; The biggest issue with the handles is after a particularly hot day (95+ F), the handles actually softened up a bit and started sliding off very easily. The finish looks nice, but rusts somewhat easily, and the edges are left a bit rough out of the factory. Unlikely to cut yourself or anything, but they're definitely not smooth.Overall, these pliers are an upgrade over Klein's in most ways, albeit a bit cheaper feeling-- That said, they are significantly cheaper, so it's hard to complain.

These are just as good. Still made in USA
I've been a electrician for 16 years and only used Klein linemen pliers. These are just as good. Still made in USA, good quality, work great, and cheaper. Biggest reason I tried these over the Klein this time was the fact they have the crimper, fish tape puller and comfort grips. Klein does not offer crimper and fish tape puller, so your forced to choose which is more important.

Very nice for the price!
I work as a residential electrician so my lineman's pliers are used everyday. These pliers are as good as any I've used before, including Kliens. The Channellocks 368CRFT Lineman's pliers cut with less effort than most I've used and for price of these, they can't be beat. I would recommend these to anybody in need of a new set of pliers

Great Pliers
Talk about easy to use. And they cut through screws and nails and all sorts of things that they aren't intended for... of course, I'll probably ruin them, but they are a fantastic tool... especially for cutting NM-B cable.
