I was approached by a dog trainer in a garden centre trying to control my young boxer dog he is excitable through no fault of his own because he wasn't taken out before we had him due to ill health so was a 3 month pup in a 10 month body. He said get a canny collar. Boxer dogs are the only dogs I have owned and understand the breed well but I have to say this is a game changer. I started out putting it on for a few minutes and within a few days he was out walking with zero pulling and the beauty of this collar is you can still give him his high value treats for being good . Wonderful product 👌those that say it sips off use a hair bobble elastic at the back and it won't 😀

Great value for money!My girls always been abit of a nutter on a walk I do my best to get & keep her attention on the walk with toys or treats but I've struggled & at times its been really tough so i said to my self im going too try one more lead ... best thing i ever did. Tried many different types of dog leads spending up too £40 pound on some but would pull like mad no matter what! for the last year i settled on a basic collar because even though she would still pull for anything & everything or the sound of a dogs barking, busses driving by etc !Like I say best thing I ever bought this lead is a real game changer for me and mabel ! Not perfect and sometimes has her moments still however our walks have completely transformed. It might not work for every doggo out there as no 2 are the same but if you haven't tried the canny collar & you have been struggling i strongly recommend its worth the try, Great product!Thank you.

Bought this as an alternative to a gentle head leader as the back fastening made it easier on my dogs neck, her head wasn’t constantly pulling to one side which made it comfier for her and protected her neck from any muscle strain or injury. Worked well. I would say it stopped her from pulling but it definitely gave me more control and made walks easier

Bought this for my mums miniature schnauzer..He was uncontrollable on a normal body harness always pulling forward which would cause him to make a constant grunting noise like a pig...! He was completely comfortable we presume otherwise he would have let up, surely... but it sounded horrendous and damaging to his health..Tried standard halti which did calm him down and he walked to a heal and calmly, however, Mum, nor I for the matter, like the way the halti yanks the dogs head to the side, looks really uncomfortable and is a completely unnatural movement...Hallelujah.... found canny dog collar in a pet shop in Wales on a holiday, but he didn’t have the right size but the proprietor let us try the next size up and go for a stroll...... The difference was astonishing...TRULY.. it was like we were walking the most relaxed and trained dog ever..The difference is that the design, instead of pulling to the side, it gently pulls their nose directly downward, which he doesn’t like of course so he just lets up and carries on calmly.The collar is so easy to use.You can wear it as a normal collar if he/she is behaving or just a SUPER SIMPLE alteration with the adjuster which creates slack at the front and you just slip the slack over the nose (all without having to detach the collar)Super easy to use, versatile in that you can have the halti engaged or not within 20 seconds , 100% result and much more dog friendly than yanking your loved dogs head 90 degrees left or right... I’ve used a canny collar with previous dogs and found it useful to reduce pulling and jumping on walks. However, with my current dog it’s not helping at all. In general he is a very good walker but if he decides to pull with the canny collar on I feel I have no control. There are many options on the market but there’s no solution that seems to be a cure for all dogs. The canny collar is worth a try though

My cocker spaniel used his paw to remove the nose piece. He did this several times , I measured him correctly. Also just too much going on around his neck when off the lead, Too much messing around to clip safely while off a lead . Needed to leave it on as he wears a pitpat . Not much room attach pitpat . Not ideal all round for my dog

It really works. After one walk my dog stopped pulling like a cart horse. He's a bit better without it but the message hasn't fully sunk in yet. With this on he doesn't pull and he walks by my side. I do find that he can remove the nose loop quite easily and when he does he pulls! Also my dog could bite through the material in a few bites if he wanted if I left it unattended loose round him as it isn't very thick at all. He has a habit of doing that to his car restraint! I may if this is needed long term look for a different figure of 8 leash. That said this is a top quality product and should allow you to train your dog into not pulling quite easily.

I can’t recommend this product highly enough. I bought it because I met a couple who had bought one for their rescue dog who was highly reactive and they’d said how good it was. Our dog showed no objection to wearing it…I did do a bit of training first…but only three goes with treats before he wore it on a walk. From the minute he put it on he was transformed. He still reacts to the dogs he doesn’t like, but it is far more manageable and I think with more technique from us even this will be ironed out. Thankyou so much.
