These shiitake mushroom plugs are a fungi lover’s dream! My husband helped me inoculate the fresh oak logs because, he’s a real funguy! Growing shiitakes doesn’t take up much-room, and I’ve been buzzing to everyone about how I sealed the logs with beeswax—because it was none of their beeswax, it was mine! Comes completely sealed. Looks like what is shown on image #4 on the product page. Also included are instructions on how to setup your log. I'm personally growing these on wood chips that i've boiled to sterilize, then once cooled down drained and inserted into grow bags, about 6 plugs to a bag. Will update with results.
