DEWALT DCBP315-2C 20V MAX POWERSTACK Lithium-Ion Batteries and Charger Starter Kit (1.7 Ah/5 Ah)

This set is a good deal - my first purchase of the power stack type of battery and I generally like them. The charger is 4 amp charger - really good- they have better but I don't need to spend the money - I have spare batteries. The 5 amp battery is big - bigger than I thought - not as heavy as my regular 5. The 1.7 is smaller than I thought - I really like the size and weight. Most tools perform well with the smaller battery.

These batteries are much better than the standard “XR” and lower model 20V batteries. Depending on the tool you use them with they can provide a notable improvement in performance. The smaller battery is great for reducing the size and weight of tools that don’t require a lot of power. The only drawback to these batteries is the price, as they are expensive. If you can wait for a sale you can typically find a deal on them during Prime Days or Holiday sales.If you are thinking about saving money and buying cheaper batteries then I highly-highly recommend that you buy other lower tier Dewalt brand batteries. Do not buy the cheap generic knock offs as they tend to be awful quality, have a short product life, and can be dangerous due to their poor construction.

One big and one small battery

Love these batteries especially the smaller of the two. Super light, and power of a much heavier battery. Might not last as long, but for overhead work my shoulders say thank you! I'm going to ask for another for my birthday or father's day :)

These batteries are great. The seem to be genuine and I can tell a difference in power when I use them with my dewalt hedge trimmer and impacts compared to my other non powerstack dewalt batteries
