I would like to leave a thorough review. However, I cannot because within 2 weeks after these were given to me as a gift, my children used all of them in the backyard, and I have never found them again. They seemed nice and durable though for the week I got to use them. I will be using plastic silverware until my children are twenty five.

My number one criteria for silverware is how difficult it is to bend. These are sturdy and won't bend easily. They feel nice in hand and not too light. They are a bit plain but for everyday use and family get-togethers, they are perfect. It's a nice big set which we often host extended family dinners, so it's plenty of silverware to go around. And though these might not be so fancy, they do come with salad forks, so maybe a little bit fancy :-) Depending on which set you got, I think you can forgo the salad forks and instead get serving spoons and forks, but I wanted to be a little fancy and so stuck with the forks.

I purchased because kids. They throw them away instead of wash them.The quality seams ok.These dinner forks are about the size of my previous salad forks and there is not much difference among these utensils.They have been in dishwasher several times now and they have held up well, no rust or discoloration has been noticed.I get a metal taste in my mouth with some foods, like spaghetti. Nobody else in my family has mentioned that.

Overall I really like this silverware set. It's a one-piece construction, but the handles themselves are a little slim. I personally prefer a little beefier handle. Other than that, everything else is great. Minimal packing, knives cut well. forks do what forks do, and the spoons hold liquid. couldn't ask for more. I only take off a star because they aren't as comfortable as I thought they'd be.
