The spa works as intended it lights up at night, which is super helpful for short winter days and for when the snow starts to pile up, it illuminates the snow pile that dog dropped it in so I can find it. I haven’t actually charged it yet. It came fully charged and has been in use for over a week without needing a recharge. We only use it on outside excursions together. I keep it in my pocket on walks in case he needs something in his mouth or an incentive to run a little off leash. I like that there are two settings to the light which I didn’t notice when I ordered it. One will shut off after five minutes of inactivity to save battery, which is really convenient so I don’t have to keep on screwing it to turn it on and off or there’s a second setting where the light stays on until you manually turn it off. We have it on the battery saving mode and we have never lost it. Overall, a really fun toy that even the neighbors, tiny dog who can barely pick it up and enjoys. It’s not really soft for like chewing, but that also means he’s not going to destroy it. It is a heavy ball to throw, but not too bad. One of my favorite purchases for this puppy.

This ball is honestly perfect for playing at night. The only problem that I have is that it is way heavier than a normal ball, so it is harder to throw, and doesn't bounce as much as I hoped but that is to be expected. My dogs love it, and they are really great for the price. I will be buying this dog toy again for my dogs

While the idea for this ball is great, the design is disappointing. It can’t be thrown as you would normally throw a ball for retrieving, it pops the battery/light cartridge out. The dogs holding and chewing on it when they bring it back also pops the cartridge out. They love the lights and get so excited to play with this at the park in the dark, but it won’t stay together. This might work for small dogs where the ball would just be rolled for them, and who don’t have strong jaws that pop it apart, but for my labs this just doesn’t work, wouldn’t recommend.

I bought this product because my dog is completely deaf and is mostly blind. This product would be great if my dog wasn’t terrified of it the top portion unscrewed and it’s USB-C type rechargeable. It comes with that stupid short charging cord, but just use your phone charger. When it bounces it changes colors and flashes so that the dog can find it easily. Otherwise it switches between a single color and it goes from blue green and red.

I bought this for a project but I have had several glowing and lighted ball dog toys in the past and these guys got it right. In the indoor mode, it turns off after 5 minutes if still. The outdoor mode stays on until the charge is depleted allowing it to be found in the event of a forgetful pooch. Very good quality but it is not a chew toy, it is for retrieving play

This product was originally great - my pup loved the mouth feel, it was easy to find, loved the light up (lost multiple times in snow and could always pick it out), and easy to recharge. Unfortunately however, after just over a month of regular ball play, the inside core with the light up component became completely dislodged and is now unusable.

Well made and I'm sure it's fine for some dogs butt it only took my pittie about 20 minutes to pull the plug out. I got it for my Boston but she didn't like it because it's too big for her mouth.

The media could not be loaded. My dog and I really love this ball. Bought this so we can play in the field behind our house at night. Tried other balls, like the glowing ones, but they're not bright enough. Other battery powered balls don't stay on long enough and I got tired of looking for them in the dark. This one stays on, depending on the switch setting, either 5 minutes, or indefinitely until it's shut off or until the battery dies. The battery, according to the instructions, should last 10 hours before needing recharging. I've charged it once when it was received, haven't had to re-charge it yet, played with it about 7 nights now 20 min each time and it's still going.Others have said it's not very durable, but I've found it to be durable enough to play catch with our border collie, haven't had any issues. but I don't let him chomp on it all he wants, just throw it and he brings it back. I suppose if your dog is an aggressive chewer and you let him just sit there and go to town on it, it won't last very long, just like any other ball. We use this ball only at night when needed, and use cheaper balls at other times to increase its life span.
