My girlfriend loves this jump rope because of the weighty feedback it gives as a complete beginner. She’s 5’5 and not particularly strong or great with endurance (yet!) but still enjoys using it over the 4 other ones I bought (including beaded, PVC, and a thinner speed cable).With that being said, I’m decently strong & active and can definitely feel it burn my forearms more than my other ones, so unfortunately you may just have to try it for yourself and see if it’s something you can handle right off the bat or if you may need to build up to it. Amazing Rope, I love that its easy to adjust (literally can make it short or long WITHOUT HAVING TO CUT IT)and made with a nice material, after looking at multiple ropes I am glad I went with this one! (It even comes with a storage bag for it) would definitely buy again ☆☆☆☆☆

As a new jumper I was looking for something weighted but unfortunately a lot of the weighted ropes are very expensive. I saw this one at such a great proce and decided to give it a chance! I'm pleasantly suprised at the quality! It's a fantastic rope at a great price! I highly recommend!

Seems well made. Cable is 9’ 6”. Good for 6’ and under. There’s a graph that says 11’ cable for taller, but it’s not that long.The hollow handles could hide up to 5” each, or reduction in length of 10” w/o cutting it. It’s a steel cable with a clear PVC covering.Came with cloth storage bag 👍

I am just starting my adventure into jumping rope and it was recommended i purchase a weighted jump rope. I didn't want to pay much for my first rope and this one fit the bill. The jump rope is very high quality for the cost and has exceeded my expectations so far.
