took to long to get followed instructions doe not work smoothly or accurate. When returning a fix was suggested the wiring differently but wire colors are not the same on fix instructions as the actual tach.

nice looking tach. but the needle is sticking.

Never worked right - more expensive tach fixed my problem.
I fooled with this tach for months - it still read erratic high.Just too sensitive to the coil noise.I tried resistors in the signal line - experimented - calmed it but didn't cure.I tried 2 different tach signal filters - no improvement.I finally found a Schmidt Trigger device that converted the coil signal to a square wave - it read right most of the time, but then it would just jump high again :(Finally bought a much more expensive tach - worked right out of the box.
