unusual
This was a different book, and I’m used to reading. Even though it was a murder mystery type it took place in of Wales. I believe the story got better, and better as the book went on. It did have some unusual twists and turns in it, and I would recommend it if you like a good mystery.

Obsession, Lies and Murder
This book was a slow read for me. I wasn’t that interested until about a third of the way in. But if I start a book I always finish it.The whole storyline is just crazy. A young woman married her mom’s ex husband whom she had not met while he was married to her mother.Never mind that the man is more than 30 years older than her. That’s just gross!I didn’t like any of the characters so I wasn’t really cheering anyone on. They all seemed very self centered and Cerys was just too trusting. I didn’t like Beth at all because I knew she had done something really bad. But it was very shocking when it was revealed. The last part of the book is a real page turner when everything comes to light. And no one is innocent! And most of them get what they deserve. I do recommend it as I enjoy reading Jane E. James books. Her books always have a wicked twist.

convoluted and specious premise
I have read other books by this author but this one does not live up to them. The characters are not well developed. From one page to the next they voice contradictory feelings to allow the plot to continue. I don’t mind the twist and turns of the story but the characters are just not believable

Shocking to say the least
I really liked the book even though I would never have guessed everything that happened. I actually liked the characters.

Great
Very intriguing story. It kept me reading consistently. The only thing I don't like is the long long paragraphs. I wish the Author would somehow break the paragraphs

More than I thought it would be
I did enjoy reading it and have to say the revelations as the story unfolds were sometimes a surprise and others not. Don't want to say more but it was a good book.

Kind Of Slow
Maybe it's because I've read so many outstanding psychological thrillers, this one seems really slow. I am glad that I finished the book because the ending was both surprising and very good. Don't give up halfway through like I almost did because it's worth the wait!

You'll never guess the ending!!
This was a fabulous book. I loved learning all about the farm life, having been born and bred an American city girl all my life. And the book was so full of twists and turns that you simply can't put it down!
