You Need This Device
I am very pleased wit this unit. I have checked out it's performance with my other lab equipment and it performs very well given it's price. Will be very useful for field testing because it's battery-powered. I took some pics of the inside. The quality of construction is very good. It's very clean inside not even grimy fingerprints are to be found. I only had to get an inexpensive RF source to calibrate above 5420 MHz, which can be found on Amazon ($60).My advice regarding the TinySA Ultra - Get one!

Surprisingly good SA features in a tiny box
I bought this to keep in my laptop bag for quick frequency scans at broadcast sites. I am surprised it works so well! In one instance, I used it to investigate interference to the LTE cellular band (720MHz), and was able to not only identify the source, but also confirm corrective actions were successful. I upgraded the software to allow for use past 1GHz and was able to clearly view an L-band signal out of a satellite LNB (~1100MHz).The screen is small and navigating the menus is a little awkward at times using the included pencil, but it's fine in most cases. And remember this is not a $15k analyzer, so the VBW, RBW and sweep times are not going to compete with one that is priced 1000x more. But for something that is small enough to fit in your hand, runs on batteries (for quite a while, honestly), and does a good enough job for most simple tasks, you can't beat it.Don't forget to buy a few SMA adapters, too.

A Real Gem
It does what other expensive equipment does at a fraction of the cost.

Upgrade of the Vintage TinySA Spectrum Analyzer
I'm still in the process of evaluating the Ultra's capabilities. But, a few initial thoughts. A person that is used the original TinySA can operate and calibrate the Ultra out of the box. I note that an actual operation manual specifically for the Ultra seems to be unavailable, so a person new to the TinySA will have to look through the original TinySA manual and gather bits and pieces on TinySA website for the additional features of the Ultra. They refer to groups.io for a knowledge base and I have experienced mixed results. The waterfall of the Ultra seems not as clear and distinct as the original TinySA. On the bench, the Ultra is reasonable for most spectrum analyzer applications, but not the precision of commercial equipment. In summary, a reasonable value for cost and small enough to fit in your hand, a useful tool in my tool box for sure. Cheers!

Love it
I love this device. Sole people say they are too small. But they must have gotten the smaller version. It does more than I know how to do. I use mostly to test antenna SWR and it works great for that. I wish I knew more about the other functions as I know it can do a ton of stuff. It’s great to run a wide sweep of an antenna. It actually helped me finally determine a mobile antenna was bad. Not that mount as I previously thought.

Amazing little Spectrum Analyzer
Touchscreen works better with the stylus than your finger. Took a little bit to find the trigger auto, once, stop and level settings, but once I found them, it works great. It doesn't remember all your settings when you turn it off. Some, but not all? If you set the start & stop frequencies the same, it shows the data going across the screen as if being seen on an oscilloscope. Nice feature. Screen capture to the SD card works great.

Great lttlie unit, poor packaging
Been using it and it works great. Giving three stars as it looked like this was already opened and used.. Because its working and no damage to the unit I have kept it rather than return it

THE NEXT best THING for a Ham after a NanoVNA!
So, you have your VNA to have your antennas and filters tuned and ready to go, the Tiny SA is the next tool for your workbench. With the included 25-watt attenuator, you can measure the RF performance of your handi-talkie. If you dial-down the output of your mobile or base rig or add a larger attenuator, you can do the same.Have RF noise in your home or shack from a wall-wart or LED light, plug in the included whip antenna and go on a fox hunt for noise. This is a great tool for the shack and workbench for the intermediate technical person. This unit is everything I expected with sufficient cables and accessories to get started.Battery life is good. The app is good as well.Spend some time with the SA and the app. It's worth it. This is a great device for the $$I RECOMMEND!
