Although we followed the inclosed instructions (including charging one battery to full charge), we ended with similar results as others on the first flight. After calibration, we were able to initiate liftoff, and maintain a hover, however we could not maneuver left, right, or forward. After several attempts we landed the drone to inspect if the arms were fully locked and to attempt another calibration. On decent we noticed smoke but no flame and the smell of burning electronics. Upon retrieval of the drone we found that the left rear arm suffered catastrophic failure due to an overheat condition. The plastic arm and the wiring sustained substantial damage. Probably caused by an electrical short or faulty wiring. The consistent and similar problems with this product suggest a systemic problem in its manufacture. I cannot and do not recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. As a business owner, I always hesitate to leave negative feedback, understanding the impact it can have on a business. Initially, I thought the issue with the product I received was an isolated incident, perhaps a miss in quality assurance that could be resolved with a simple replacement.Alarmingly, the product caught on fire during preparation as a Christmas gift for my son. This incident was not just a one-off; other users have reported similar safety issues. It's imperative for potential buyers to be aware of these severe safety hazards.I believe it's essential to prioritize consumer safety and transparency. Hence, I find it necessary to warn others: please consider staying away from this product. The risk it poses, especially in a family setting, is not worth taking. Safety should always come first, and unfortunately, this product fails to meet basic safety standards.

Bought this drone first flight went well. Went to charge the 1st lipo battery and wasn’t Charging.. 1 out if the two supplied lipo batteries was defective. Used the good lipo battery today (1-4-2024) ran the drone for approximately 2 minutes and one of the motors started smoking and the arm melted off. Apparently this is an ongoing issues with this model drone as several people have had the same issue. I wouldn’t for the life of me but this drone again and encourage you to buy one with better reviews. I will say Amazon customer service was phenomenal in issuing me a full refund. This drone would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn’t for the motor smoking/catching fire issue. Aside from that it performed well, easy to operate when it did work. It’s a shame

We got this drone at Christmas. On the first flight it smoked and melted. We returned it, got a second replacement. We did not fly it until this past weekend. On the second use it again smoked and melted. We are past the return period and very disappointed. Despite the decent flight and camera quality it is a terrible product.

The electrical system was faulty. A component caught fire immediately after lifting off for the first time. This product never worked or fulfilled its function in any capacity. I want a full refund.I read the manual. I watched the video. I charged the batteries and the controller. I downloaded the app. I connected to the product. I successfully performed a GPS calibration. I attached my phone to the holster in the controller. As soon as I pressed the button to automatically take off, the back-right motor began to smoke and crackle. By this point, the drone was drifting toward me. I got it to the ground, but it badly cut my finger. I had to quickly remove the battery as the plastic was on fire. When I removed my phone from the controller's holster, I found that it had a deep scratch on the case.The electrical components of this product are faulty, and this product should not be sold as it is a fire hazard. I'm just lucky that the lithium ion battery did not explode in my face.Again, this product poses a serious danger and risk of fire and injury. It should be removed from circulation.

The m7 is one of the better modles. It does what is described. Easy to fly. Good in high winds the video is more stable. Don't forget customer service hands down the best I have ever experienced. Prompt and very helpful they will do what they can to help. New parts batteries ect.

My son got one at Christmas, used for 5 minutes. Started on fire. Got a replacement. Went to use it for the first time today, didn't last 5 minutes again. Started melting itself again. Turned it off before it could go on fire. Can't return it now. Don't buy it. Waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. Literally during my first flight it caught fire and luckily enough I was able to grab it before it started something else on fire. The arm caught fire and melted the plastic. Considering the amount of reviews with the same issue this could be design issue not defect. None the less I do not recommend.
