Exceptional Fit and Stability for Long Hikes
These shoes have quickly become my go-to for serious hiking. I’ve tried a lot of different big brands over the years, but the fit on the Terraventure 4 is in a different league. The toebox is generous without feeling sloppy, and the overall shape of the shoe just works with my feet in a way that most others don’t.What stands out most is the stability. Whether I’m on rocky trails, loose gravel, or uneven forest paths, these shoes provide a solid, planted feel that gives me confidence with every step. The 3mm drop keeps me feeling connected to the ground while still offering enough cushion for longer treks. I’ve put in some full-day hikes with these already and my feet felt supported the entire time.Durability also seems promising so far. The materials feel tough without being heavy, and the outsole grips well on both wet and dry surfaces. These aren’t flashy shoes, but if you care more about performance and comfort than trendiness, they absolutely deliver.Highly recommend for anyone who hikes regularly and wants a shoe that balances comfort, support, and a proper anatomical fit. I’ll be sticking with Topo for the long haul.

Excellent hiking shoes!
These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever tried on. Super lightweight and wide toe box along with excellent tread. Great for trails and hard surfaces alike. Definitely worth the purchase!!!

Excellent walking/hiking shoes
These are my favorite shoes, and I have three pairs of them (plus a couple pairs of the prior model). I do a lot of walking around home (3-5 miles almost every day for exercise), and I like to do Camino walks in Europe. These were great on the 490-mile French Camino, and they held up well for the rougher terrain of the 103-mile Tour du Mont Blanc hike. They were great for the Timberline Trail around Mount Hood in Oregon. In short, they're comfortable on terrain from sidewalks to rough rocks. I recommend pairing them with Superfeet Hike cushioned insoles. Feet come in many shapes, so these might not work for you, but they sure are nice for me. One note about comfort: There's a well-known brand of shoes that has become very popular in recent years, and people like them because they feel so plush and comfortable when you put them on. These Topo shoes won't wow you when you first put them on. They feel pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Where they excel is that after 15 miles on the trail, they STILL feel pretty good. That's far more important.

Interesting concept- great so far
The media could not be loaded. Day 2 and 12 miles, right out of the box. A little getting used to such a nice wide toe box but feels g ood so far. I have high arches and slightly wide feet. The shoe fits great overall. Shoe is really light weight. Not really that waterproof. I will put a coat of waterproof spray on them. I work as a greenskeeper and walk on wet grass the first 3 hours of the day. In a typical day I can walk an average of 7 miles a day. Also carrying a load of 40+ pounds on my back with a blower.I tear up shoes, with milage, rocks, concrete, dirt, sod, and rain. Most shoes don't last me six months, so I'll be back with more updates. #toposhoes

Mega traction. Comfortable and light
Not as much cushion for real rocky and technical terrain , works well in that terrain if it’s shorter distances maybe less than ten miles.Awesome traction and light and responsive.Great fit. Narrow along heel, great support. Wide toe box. After all you don’t want to develop bunions in a narrow shoe

Impressive Shoe!
I like the styling of this shoe…that’s why I didn’t get the green and orange version! Just kidding around, but they do look good! Can’t really tell about durability, I haven’t worn them enough yet to get a good idea. The fit is also good. I usually get 12.5 so I have enough room for my toes if I’m going to hike for a good distance. The sole also feels like it will be able to ward off some of those pointy rocks, it’s a good Vibram sole. Over all a solid trail runner that will hopefully last a while.
