I have a high drive 55 pound German shepherd. I had another prong collar that was just like a regular collar, not a Martin Gale. The prongs were pretty weak and kept disengaging. Several times my dog got out of it, and it was concerning.I had a previous prong collar that did not have a quick release and that was a real pain. This one is a dream. It’s easy on and easy off. It’s solid. My dog can never get out of this. You can use it as a Martingale, or not. Whatever is your preference. This is really a lifesaver for me. It was so worth the investment.

This is a great product for training my German Shepard. I needed to remove 1 link to fit the collar better. Very easy to remove a link. The dog behaves much better when outside the house with this collar. I have used it a couple times to get him in control. The instructions are clear to understand. Plan to keep this a long time and the product is durable.

So much easier to take off and put in. Works as great as our old one without having to thread a chain through a hole.

We've had large dogs in the past that respected their prong collars, but after a lapse in dog ownership, we got rid of those collars. Now that we have a growing German Shepherd puppy, we wanted a new collar for walk training. We love that this one unclips pretty easily, yet it sounds and feels very secure as we click it around her neck. There's no wrestling with individual prongs to put it on or take it off, and we were glad we got the size we did, allowing us to add links as she grows.

The only problem I had with this collar is that it was advertised as fitting up to a 26" neck. It was only barely 24" lone and thank goodness, I had an older Herm Sprenger black collar that I could "steal" prongs from and add to this collar. But, if I had not had those black prongs, it would have been worthless for my dog's 26" neck.

This is for my large dog and fits great. The clasp is a hand saver!

This was an authentic Herm springer, prong collar. It has a great low profile color. It’s durable and came exactly as it was depicted. This prong collar is easy to remove and comes with a clip that has a safety covering so your canine won’t be able to accidentally disengage the clip and remove the collar

Stops dog from pulling basically instantly! However you must know how to use it and deliver corrections for it to be effective. This is a game changer! Highly recommend doing research on how to properly use (YouTube trainer American Standard Dog training)Don worry, although it looks like a medieval, it’s not! I use on my Giant Schnauzer & a Boston Terrier. Results are incredible, you won’t be disappointed with your choice!
