A better alternative to traditional lifting straps...
I'm a serious recreational lifter and I like to go pretty heavy on the deadlifts. I've been lifting for a long time and traditionally have used lifting straps and I must say that I find this type of strap or 'grip' superior to the old ones that wrap around your wrist with the loop on the end that you curl tightly around the bar cutting off your circulation. If you arent' familiar with this type, It can take a little adjusting to get used to them. The velcro wraps more loosely around your wrist so that the grip part hangs down around your fingertips. You place your hands so that the bar is between your hands and the grip pads, then you use your fingertips to curl the grip pads up and around twisting them backward around the bar until they get tight and also pull the grip so that the wrist strap tightens around your wrist. When you are done with your set, you simply open your hands, the grip uncurls, and you are free from the bar. With straps sometimes I would get them so tight that it took a little jiggling to get them loose from the bar.I had some recognizable name brand grips for several years before one finally broke. I've been using these for a few months and so far have held up well. the grip pad I believe is supposed to be made of kevlar? Not sure if that gives it an advantage or just a marketing stat but time will tell. Also not sure what the name brand grip pads are made of but they did last a long while. These are around half the price of the name brand ones so if they last a few years they will no doubt pay for themselves. The stitching on these seems to be very good and the velcro on the wrist strap portion is strong. nothing about these seems to be cheap so far. They seem to be a tad longer than my old pair (I realize that these are 'name brand' but my others are I believe more recognizable as a brand, that's why I call them 'name brand.') which gives them slightly more curl around the bar and thus grip, but that could be my imagination, it's been a while since I used that other brand.I don't compete, but I still take advantage of coaching, mainly to work work toward perfection in form and maximize performance, and to try to stay as healthy and injury free as possible. One of my coaches that trained serious powerlifters told me once when I asked him if using straps was optimal, if I should be using hook grip or alternating grip. He told me that even the big boy's use straps when they train. He said to do myself a favor, get some straps and save my thumbs. So do yourself a favor and buy these grips. Honestly, in my opinion they are superior to straps just for ease of use. Maybe they aren't for everyone, but I think maybe most of the people most of the time that use these will like them and benefit from their use. You can use them for any pulling exercise, so you aren't limited to just deadlifting with them.So I will continue to use these once or twice a week and maybe when they finally break it will update my review and we'll see how long the last.

Poor Quality & Falls Apart Quickly – Not Worth It!
I had high expectations for the EZ Gripz PRO V2 Lifting Grips, but these are one of the worst lifting accessories I’ve ever purchased. After only a few uses, the material started fraying and peeling, making them almost useless. The grip wore down way too fast, and instead of helping my lifts, they became more of a distraction. The stitching is weak, and the overall build quality feels cheap and flimsy. On top of that, they don’t provide the secure grip they claim—my hands were still slipping during heavier lifts, defeating the entire purpose of using them. For the price, I expected something durable and long-lasting, but instead, I got a poorly made product that barely lasted a few workouts. Save your money and go with a more reliable brand. Would NOT recommend!

EZ to use
I have only ever used the traditional lifting straps, prior to purchasing these. These EZ grips were recommended by a friend, and they are great. I bought these for both my wife and myself. She really struggled with the traditional lifting straps but was able to use these with ease. You dont have to fumble with material and try to get a good wrap. These straps work great...they are comfortable, and they really do take the pain out of trying to grip.

Great product
Great product, works as well or better than strap's. Double check your size requirements.

Great addition
Great gym addition at a fraction of the cost of versa but just as good. The smell of rubber is kind of overwhelming though
