Very impressed. Much better than original
Highly impressed with this new freedconn unit. I had the original (still have in fact) and this new model is not only better in every way, but cheaper too! I love the fact that you don't have to remove the speakers to charge it, I love the new clip on mount instead of the old one that literally screwed into your helmet. and I love the sound quality. I can easily hear this at motorway speeds. For anything under 40mph I probably don't even turn the volume up halfway. It comes with the clip on mount and a stick on mount. It also comes with two sets of velcro pads. This, along with the two mounts is an absolute boon for me as my main helmet has currently got a scratched visor so I'm using my spare. I have a set of pads in the spare helmet and a set in the main helmet. When the visor arrives, I can just move the unit over to the other helmet. I may even purchase a second set of speakers and microphones so I just have to unplug and switch the control unit. Out of the box it had 70% battery. I rode for an hour today and it still has 70% battery. The sound quality is very good for a helmet headset. It's not Bang and Olufson but it's very acceptable for riding and a huge improvement on the old model. Phone conversations were fine as well. I could hear them clearly, they could hear me. It comes with two microphones. For full face helmets, I would use the button mic with the velcro tab, but for my flip fronts I use the boom mic. I cannot recommend this unit enough. It also works as an intercom apparently but I have no idea how to do that and I don't have a use for it. It's far easier to use the voice dial to phone whoever you're riding with and not mess around connecting units. No complaints at all. Easy to fit, easy to use and a very capable system.

Good for the price
Good product for the price, very suitable if you only occasional want to use it or don't go on long journeys.Sound quality is not amazing, but it's decent, same with the volume, not super loud, but loud enough.Have been using it to listen to music on my way to and from work, it's much better than just listening to the wind.Microphone and call quality are also decent, as long as you arent riding 50+ mph, the person on the phone is going to be able to hear and understand you.Controls are simple and easy to use if you are riding, battery is decent and have had no issues with the Bluetooth.

Rubbish value for money
Sound quality of the speakers was like listening through a string and tin can. One ear was louder than the other which made it sound even worse. Fm radio didn't work. Set up was OK but the bracket felt so cheep and flimsy. Overall wouldn't recommend. Go for the T-com instead if your looking for a budget intercom.

Great for summer
As the weather gets better here in UK, this is a great addition to be able to speak while riding the bike, especially if you ride with friends

price–performance ratio!!!update
The media could not be loaded. I have to say, I did not expect this much from this price.1. Sound quality: It is not GREAT, BUT! Good enough. I can hear the bass at certain levels, sound clear. You can't compare it with QC45 or some branded communication system. For this price. Absolutely perfect.2. Installation: So easy. I have a K6 helmet. the speakers fit perfectly.3. I am not sure about battery life. but use it for about 2 hrs before I turned it off.update: play music for at least 5 hrs. No problem. The official said 10hrs, which should be the truth

Great price, poor sound quality for music.
Looking for a comms system for my Shark helmet, I settled on this one. If you're just looking for a device that allows you to communicate, this might be ideal, but the sound quality is poor, especially compared to a lower-end Cardo unit (which I now have).

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a device to listen to music while riding, and so can’t speak for how good it is with taking calls and talking to others. But for music, it’s a great gadget. I wasn’t looking to spend huge amounts of money and so this seemed like a good choice. For the price, sound quality is actually pretty good. It was super easy to fit to my helmet and learn the controls. Battery life also seems to be quite good, and it’s nice to be able to charge it without taking it off. Would recommend, especially if you’re just looking for music to make rides less dull.
