We needed something to keep the pets off the couches (1 mastiff, 1 dachshund, 1 cat). Especially if it's been raining. And keeping from being covered in hair felt impossible. We used empty cardboard boxes, which worked, but was an eyesore, and they got in the way when not in use. These spikes are easily stackable and light. Effective in keeping pets off the couches. It's nice to be able to have a seat in my own home and not be covered in hair all the time.

Plenty of mats, lightweight, easy to use. I use ~6 of them to protect sofa when away. I also adhered some nonslip (appropriate for floor surface) to the back of a few to set on floor to block hallway.

Keeps the dogs off our furniture and they do not bother them.

These are flimsy plastic rectangles and the cones stack with one another - so the little spikey things are hollow and made of easily movable plastic. Not only did my cats figure out how to simply pull the rectangle sheets away from the area they want to get to with a swipe of the paw, but I also watched one of them slowly transfer the weight onto his paws to bend the cones to the side when I tried to use these to block off a hallway and taped them down. The cat literally walked on top of this thing. It was a ridiculous waste of money because it's so poorly made. If the cones were more solid and the backside of the plastic had something to make it grippy on the floor, this might work. But these are garbage! So disappointing.

We got these to keep dogs off our new couch. They work perfectly for us. Kept dogs off couch. They also stack together so they can all be condensed to the size of a placement.
