Its a box and it does the job. Durable plastic. The screw holes go all the way, which is nice for mounting as you can step up to a longer screw to get through mounting surface and not worry about length being exact. Mine did not have holes as show in back, had to drill my own - not a big deal.

Decent gang switch box if you only need 3. I am planning on 3 items for it.It comes with 4 lid screws, metal nuts casted in. 4 tapping screws, to mount Into a surface. You'd screw these in from the inside, so it's designed well with logic.Also includes a gasket? Thought that was interesting, but helpful.

Advertised as a water proof box it comes with the weather stripping for the top where it attaches to the bottom. Not sure how well that will work with the small spaces between the 3 switches, around the switches and the 2 holes in the back for the wires to go through. Not an issue for me though since this will never be on a boat and will be used for an indoor DIY project for turning on LED lighting. In that case this should work great for me. Still when I just set the switches in place to confirm this will work, getting all 3 aligned, the cover down tight and the screws in place was not easy, so I downgraded for ease of use and since it will be mounted under a table top before I screw it all together it will be that much harder to hold it all in place.

Works great for my ol jeep. No place to install switches until I found this. Install was simple and quick. Exact fit for all the rockers I needed to install.
