There are two reasons.........
This shaving cream scores so high. First, it is simply a first rate product. Second, for me at least, it is the only shaving cream that I have used that makes the shaving ritual damn near perfect.Arko at £1.49 a tube does a perfectly respectable job. Proraso and Palmolive at a higher price do the job slightly better. Trumper and Taylors are most excellent at the next price point. But I have never really engaged at an enjoyment level with any of these as I do with the Captain Fawcett cream.It starts with the restrained metal tube ( I also purchased a tube key) and ends with the feel of a fresh, well shaved face that does not feel dry. Personally, I finish of with some Proraso Sensitive shaving balm, and all is perfect in the world; well, in my bathroom anyway.Ignore the Captain Fawcett branding and marketing as amusing fluff. Behind the Jeeves and Wooster persona lies a product that walks the walk and talks the talk. This has easily become my 5 days out of 7 choice.

Best shaving cream ever!
I have tried at leadt twenty different shaving creams. This one is very smooth, softens the skin, and produces a rich lather.
