Recently stormed in my city bought these just in case my room flooded and these sucked up a lot of the water I’m not sure if these would work to divert water but using these to dry up an already flooded area works

Our house flooded and these barely absorbed any water after 10 hours of being in water.

These came and they look home made. All very large pieces with a small amount of granular stuff inside them. I expected them to be more stream line and tailored to fit inside of a door. We kept them out of need and we will see. It looks like we could have made them ourselves.

I used these bags during the two hurricanes we just had in Fl and the worked well. They're very easy to use and can withstand heavy rain. I though to discard the bags after so much use, but I decided not to do it yet.No leakage so far. I just placed them to drain and does not matter if they take some time to do so. Don't think they dry completely but I'll see. What I know for certain it's that I have to get more of these bags.

The bags are now full with absorbed water. Will let you know how long it takes to dry them out. Plan on putting them in the sun.

Not all activated. “Sand” spilled out of the bags while handling. Didn’t find much absorbing water.
