Choco Wafers Milk Chocolate Cookies (12 boxes) by Bahlsen- Wafers covered with European Chocolate - 3.4 oz boxes

I LOVE these crispy, dark chocolate wafer cookies, but they are very hard to find in CA grocery stores, so I felt lucky to find them in the Amazon Bahlsen store…for a better-than-in-store price!

Love these cookies - buy them by the case - can no longer find them on Amazon - so sad.

I had those multiple times and they are very good. It's real chocolate (not American stuff). I had one issue when all the waffles were melted together inside each box with the chocolate all over. It should have stayed in the heat for a significant amount of time. BUT Bahlsen made it right and refunded me. I recommend ordering from Bahlsen store directly (not a reseller). Bahlsen is very popular (but upscale) in Europe, I'm very happy to be able to buy those products also in the USA at a reasonable price.

I bought a set of 8 boxes of Bahlsen Choco/Afrika cookies to make tiny chocolate caps for my son's graduation. I normally buy them at the store and they always look great, glossy and dark. This time I decided to buy directly from Bahlsen, thinking they might be fresher, and received them just a few hours ago. The cookies look terrible, they are not glossy but opaque, with white discoloration all over, so they are unusable. I looked at all the boxes, they are all in the same condition. I then found out that this item is not returnable, no matter what it looks like. Do not buy through Amazon, just go to your regular store. I also found lots of similar complaints, it apparently is a common issue.

I love these cookies, but these may have been not as fresh as they should be. They all have that "chocolate bloom" where there's a white coating that appears on the surface. The internet says it's still safe to eat them, and they did taste ok, but still. Not really what you want!

These cookies are delicious. A little pricey, but when you buy a case of 12 boxes ….. it’s more economical than the grocery store. And with the quality of their product …..well worth the price! Their freshness date says they are good for a year from now . Can’t beat that!🤎🤎🤎

We actually ordered these by accident, we had intended to buy the dark chocolate "choco Leibnitz" cookies (which we love). These actually turned out to be a great choice. Smaller and lighter than the choco Leibnitz, they are a good size for snacking on. I actually think I prefer these now. Highly recommended.

The packaging has changed a little, but same great taste. I love these wafers. Good and good for you. Ok, at least not bad for you.
