The bag is sleek and modern in design, making it suitable for both business and leisure travel
The ZHXX Ryanair Cabin Bag is designed as a compact, functional, and stylish underseat carry-on, ideal for travellers looking for a convenient and secure bag for their Ryanair flights. With its waterproof material, built-in charging port, and anti-theft pocket, it offers a range of features that make it a solid option for those who frequently fly with low-cost airlines like Ryanair. Here’s an honest review based on its pros, cons, and overall usefulness. What’s Great:Perfect Size for Ryanair and Other Airlines: The 40x20x25 cm dimensions fit comfortably within Ryanair's cabin baggage allowance, which is often a key concern for budget travellers. This bag is also small enough to be used as a personal item for other airlines with similar size restrictions, making it a versatile piece of luggage for frequent fliers.Waterproof Design: The bag’s waterproof construction is a standout feature, ensuring that your belongings stay dry in rainy weather or if the bag is accidentally exposed to spills. This feature provides added peace of mind, especially when travelling in unpredictable climates or when navigating through wet airports.Convenient Charging Port: One of the most practical features is the built-in charging port. For tech-savvy travellers who rely on their devices while on the go, this feature allows you to charge your phone, tablet, or other electronic gadgets without having to open your bag. Simply connect your power bank inside the bag, and you can plug your device into the external USB port. It’s a great convenience for long waits at the airport or while on public transport.Anti-Theft Pocket: The inclusion of an anti-theft pocket is another major benefit. This hidden compartment allows you to store valuable items, such as passports, wallets, or credit cards, securely. The pocket is well-placed and offers additional peace of mind when you’re in crowded areas, reducing the risk of theft.Comfortable to Carry: The design of the bag, including padded straps, makes it comfortable to carry, even when it’s fully packed. The adjustable shoulder straps are ideal for a backpack-style carry, ensuring that it’s easy to wear for extended periods while travelling, whether through airports or city streets.Stylish and Practical: The bag is sleek and modern in design, making it suitable for both business and leisure travel. It looks professional while still maintaining a casual feel, which is great for those who need a bag that suits multiple travel purposes. What Could Be Improved:Limited Storage Space: While the bag is the perfect size for Ryanair’s underseat carry-on allowance, the compact nature of the bag means there’s not a lot of room for packing. It’s ideal for a couple of days’ worth of clothes and essentials, but for longer trips or those who tend to overpack, the storage capacity may feel a bit tight. You might need to pack light or utilise other bags for additional storage.Charging Port Requires a Power Bank: While the external USB charging port is a great feature, it does not come with a built-in power source. You’ll need to carry your own power bank to make use of the charging port. This is something to consider, especially if you rely on your devices throughout the day. It would have been great if the bag had a built-in power bank, though that would likely add to the cost and weight.Zipper Quality: Some users have reported that the zippers feel a little flimsy, which could be a concern if the bag is heavily packed. While the bag itself is durable, the zippers might not hold up as well under prolonged use or heavy loads. It’s a good idea to be gentle with the zippers to avoid any potential issues down the line.No Expandable Compartments: The bag’s design does not include any expandable sections, which could limit its flexibility when you need to fit in a bit more than expected. Having an expandable feature would make this bag even more versatile, especially for travellers who tend to pack souvenirs or extra items on the return journey.Noteworthy Observations:Ideal for Short Trips: This bag is excellent for short trips, weekend getaways, or as a supplementary carry-on. If you're travelling for business or leisure and only need a few essentials, this bag will serve you well. However, for longer stays or those needing to pack more, it might not be spacious enough.Durability for Everyday Use: The bag is made from a sturdy, water-resistant material, making it suitable for daily commutes, city breaks, or travel across various environments. However, it’s important to note that, like any other bag, it will need care to maintain its longevity, particularly if used frequently.Perfect for Tech-Savvy Travellers: The charging port is a game-changer for tech lovers. If you tend to rely on your gadgets for entertainment or work during your travels, the ability to charge your devices while on the move is incredibly convenient. Just remember to bring your power bank!Verdict:The ZHXX Ryanair Cabin Bag is a well-designed, practical, and stylish option for those looking for a reliable underseat carry-on. Its size, waterproof material, and practical features such as the charging port and anti-theft pocket make it an excellent choice for short trips, business travel, or casual holidays.Although it’s not the most spacious bag for longer trips, it offers just enough room for essentials and is compact enough to comply with Ryanair’s cabin baggage size restrictions. The addition of a charging port and anti-theft pocket adds significant value, making this a standout option for tech-savvy travellers who want a little more security and convenience on their journey. If you're looking for a well-rounded travel bag that offers great features for short to medium trips, this bag is definitely worth considering. Just keep in mind the storage limitations and ensure you pack smartly!

Excellent carry-on bag
The media could not be loaded. The bag is Ryanair approved, great quality, and size. Simple design but looks expensive and comfortable to wear; this was for my 9-year-old son, and he never complained. As you'll see in the video, there are many compartments. Functions well. Would recommend.

Great if it’s for a child!
The size is smaller than described as 40x20x25cm - the total bag size is 37x15x25cm (25 is average width). It also has child-sized straps and back - with just 29cm strap distance so it doesn’t sit well on your lower back, it rode high on my back and did not feel comfortable. I have pictured alongside an adult backpack, so the difference in strap sizes can be noticed. The backpack itself was lovely - good quality fabric and made well. It took me quite a while to decide whether to keep it or not - but it just didn’t sit well on my back, so have returned. The pockets are great sized and well placed. The 2 side drinks pockets would be able to get 2 500 or slightly bigger slender bottles in, such as the metal versions. They were very deep pockets, and do not appear to loose their elasticity. I did like these - one of the reasons why I bought. Also, the secret back pocket was a great addition, along with the laptop / flat back pocket and the 2 front pockets. Great features inside.Whilst I am returning, I do feel this deserves 5 star for quality & durability - 4 star overall as the size is not 100% accurate and the straps are definitely too small for my back (I’m 5’6”)…

Better than expected
I have been window shopping for a rucksack like this for absolutely ages. Things came to a head when we booked flights with cabin-only luggage. My current rucksack is tiny, and I needed a bag that maxed the hand luggage allowance on EasyJet. This rucksack fits the bill. I think it's too big for Ryan Air hand luggage, so make sure you check the measurements with the airline before you get it. Note that EasyJet doesn't really care how heavy your hand luggage is. You can get lighter bags than this, but I prefer a bag that feels robust, not light and flimsy.Things I like about this bag:There's a padded pocket against the back of the rucksack for a small laptop. It would also be a good pocket for paper documents that you want quick access to.There's a big central cavity with a zip that allows you to open it up properly for packing. Regular rucksacks open from the top, and you have to rummage around for things. With this one, the front of the rucksack flips open completely, so you can pack it properly and organise your stuff well. Inside there are cross over luggage straps to hold your clothes down, like you would get in a suitcase. There's a little hole you can slip a cable through if you want to charge a device or listen with earphones to something in your bag. On the opened flap, there's a large net pocket, and a zipped waterproof pocket that would probably be handy for a wet swimming costume or smelly socks etc. Straps on the outside of the rucksack can be tightened to squeeze the contents down. Might be useful if you aren't carrying that much, and don't want your luggage sliding around and settling at the bottom of the bag. There's a small zipped pocket on the front of the rucksack. I might put my glasses or cigarettes in there, but nothing valuable, since it would be the easiest pocket to steal from. There's a zipped pocket on the back of the rucksack for valuables, which could not be accessed unless you took the bag off your back.On the front there's also a big zipped pocket with organisation inside, including little slots for pens, a large zipped pocket, and a key fob clip. It's a good pocket for your stationery, mints, comb, whatever. On either side of the rucksack, there's large pockets for drinks. I'm glad about this, because a lot of similar bags don't have the drinks pockets, and I really wanted them.On the back of the rucksack there's a thick strap which you can slip over the long handles of a wheelie suitcase. I really wanted this feature, because it's nice to take a heavy rucksack off and wheel it on your case now and then. The rucksack has adjustable padded shoulder straps, and a sturdy handle on the top. The back of the bag is padded. In all respects the quality of the materials, zips and clips feels very good, strong and sturdy. This isn't a lightweight holdall that will lose its shape when you stuff it full of luggage, but a robust little rucksack with lots of features to make your packing and travelling efficient and easy.I am really looking forward to using it. If I remember, I'll return here once I've used it a few times, to update my review.
