My dryer was a lemon! I had six service calls in the first 5 years I had the dryer. Despite the problematic history that I documented with Speed Queen, they offered no help when the warranty expired. I would not expect a warranty extension if the dryer had performed like it should during the warranty period, but I went through the inconvenience of having to deal w/multiple service calls along with dealing with Speed Queen Customer Service, who don't care. I would not recommend buying their products!
