RC car best geared for a child or beginner
The media could not be loaded. I am an RC hobbyist and car enthusiast so I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to review RC vehicles.This car would be fun for a child or beginner. More advanced RC owners may not be as entertained though, especially with the lack of throttle control. The speed is all on or off. There is no in-between.The car has a nice tuner appearance and the wheels are interchangeable and the slick tires perform well. The car does, despite throttle control, have good speed and the battery life is impressive for the price.I found it hard to control the drift especially when drifting to the left vs. the right. I ended up having to return the first car as the wheel came off and it left me worried that the vehicle would break too easily. The second vehicle has not had this problem and I've tested it several times over the past month before writing this review.Even with its flaws, this is one I keep in my car for some fun when I take the kids to the park or camping. It's fun enough to entertain and the price is low enough that I'm not worried about letting others play with it. For what it is, it delivers.

Our favorite little RC car. The drifting is a blast. The controller is a learning curve, but the design makes sense for the drift.

Decently good, it just tends to drift with either set of tires on, and the battery doesn't last very long, i got maybe 30 minutes out of a fully charged battery.

Fun toy reasonably priced
The first one that came had a defective battery door that couldn't be opened. I immediately informed Amazon and Had a replacement the NEXT DAY! Excellent response and this one works perfectly and the 11 year old boy loves it.
