GOODBYE ADVIL!!!!
Based on the decent reviews, I ordered this brand and started taking them about 2 weeks ago, hoping they would help with my tight, painful neck muscles (due to scoliosis and herniated cervical discs.) I have to say, this is the BEST magnesium I've tried so far. I haven't taken ANY Advil during the two weeks I've been on this magnesium, and that's highly unusual for me. I've read that malate is the best magnesium form for muscle pain, but I never tried it before this. I've been using Natural Calm for the last 6 months, and that wasn't helping much, just giving me uncomfortable bowel issues. This malate has been a godsend, and I have no more bowel problems either since using this. I also take vitamin D, Vitamin K, use a My Pillow for sleeping, and drink LOTS OF WATER. I think this is the winning combination for keeping me pain free, and off the NSAIDS, which I have used for way too many years. I always worry about needing cervical spine surgery as I age, but with the way I feel now, I don't see that happening.A few of the other posters mentioned these pills weren't dissolving when they tested them in a vinegar solution. These dissolve in the gut, trust me! You can't compare vinegar solution to the gastric acid that is in the human stomach-it's so strong, it can destroy metal! I know these are working because of the way I've been feeling. My neck is much looser now, pain is gone, almost completely. My only issue might be with some of the fillers in these, but I haven't researched that enough to worry about it.Overall, I feel 100% better since using these, and plan to continue purchasing. Thank you Nature's Life!

Very Important beneficial mineral for your health
I used to get restless leg syndrome and terrible cramps in my calves while sleeping. My neurologist recommended magnesium and it worked wonders. NO more cramps, and my legs are happier staying in a comfortable position. I started off taking a total of 3 a day for a while and now I am down to taking just one after breakfast and supper. I did some research and found that magnesium malate is know to help muscle cramps. Personally, I have no problem swallowing any size pill, however, they are a bit on the large size, not small like aspirin. Magnesium also has other health benefits as well.I found this info on verywellhealth.com "It's an anti-inflammatory, fights depression, and may increase your ability to exercise. Elemental magnesium is not easily taken up by the body, though, and is much easier to absorb in the form of a salt, bound to some other substance:"Magnesium malate, a combination of magnesium and malic acid (which is found in apples), is one such salt formulation. This particular formulation of magnesium may be helpful for conditions related to over-excitation of the neuromuscular system, including chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Both magnesium and malic acid are frequently recommended for these conditions, although early research suggesting a benefit has not been replicated.

Large but works
The pills themselves are very large, however they are very smooth which helps. I have issues taking pills and the size is a bit uncomfortable to swallow but it does goes down smoothly without that 'stuck' feeling. I take it in the morning and it does seem to help with energy.

Best value and type of magnesium
I found magnesium malate to help me the best. There are so many other types of magnesium, and after using some of them I decided there was a huge difference. So I researched the other types as well as this one. The others aren't as good as this one.Magnesium oxide will absorb so fast into your intestinal lining that it relaxes your intestinal muscles. Which can cause you to have diarrhea. Its also known as a bowel mover or stool softener. Therefore it is the worst, unless you like that sort of thing.I also enjoy the price point of this bottle of magnesium malate. Too bad its now out of stock!

My doctor recommended that I take magnesium maleate for fibromyalgia
My doctor recommended that I take magnesium maleate for fibromyalgia. I won't give medical advice, other than to say that I've found it to be helpful. More to the point, if you're looking for magnesium maleate, Amazon has the best selection at the best cost. I can't find it in stores, and we have a good selection of local stores that have extensive vitamin and supplement sections. None of them carry it. The 1,300 mg dose is hardest to find, and I'm glad that it's here. I was prescribed 2,400 mg a day. If this option weren't available, I'd be adding up a bunch of pills and likely needing to order multiple bottles at a time. In terms of packaging, it's good. The cap is easy to screw on and off, and it keeps the pills dry. The pills, while on the large size, are easy to swallow.

Helps a lot with chronic muscle pain
I started getting daily muscle pain about 5 years ago, searched online for the more absorbable kinds (magnesium oxide is useless to humans, for example), and settled on magnesium malate. I take 3 a day, one with each meal. If I don't have my magnesium, the muscle aches show up again in about 3-4 days. I've run out enough times that it's pretty obvious to me how much it helps. My doc thinks I might have fibromyalgia. Each pill has 200mg of magnesium in it.

Great stuff!
I very much like this Magnesium. I am magnesium deficient and add this into my diet daily. Taking large amounts on workout days is no bother to my GI tract in any way. This type will not cause you to run to the bathroom like Magnesium Oxide will. Having taken 4-6 on an empty stomach and upwards of 12 a day, I have had no problems still. When taken before a workout and after, my performance is greatly increased and recovery is as well. The magnesium some how seems to also lower body odor, this was new to me but found with a little research on the web(yes, at legit sources not some woo woo dudes blog).Highly recommend and ordered for a family member as well.
