Q: if it is not (at least rim to rim) 9" then why do you insist that it is 9" pie pan?? is there same quality pie pan exactly 9"?

Hello, The manufacturer calls this a 9" pan. It is on the box as a 9" pan. People measure pie pans differently some measure it rim to rim and some measure the inside. We go by what the manufacturer calls them. BUYING GUIDE - IMPORTANT NOTE: Please don't rely on just the photos for your purchasing decision - pie pans look pretty much alike in the pictures. You will want to Read the dimensions - see if this is the right size pan for you. We call this an 9" pan by measuring the top outside rim to rim, if you measure the inside it's more like 8". A little extra attention now will pay off... we've found by experience is that it's easier and cheaper to take an extra minute or so and make sure that you buy the correct size, rather than buy the wrong pan and have to pay to ship it back to us for exchange.

Q: Would this work well for pot pies?

I believe they would be fine. I use mine mostly for fruit pies (like Dutch apple or two-crust pies). I'd recommend using a lightweight rimmed pan underneath for both "overflow" and making removal from the oven a little easier, although they are sturdy enough to use without a pan underneath.

Q: Kitchendance do you sell this in 10 or 11 inch? i don't see it available on amazon right now. i'm worried this is too small for a bbq plate.

Hello, At this time we are working on having a 10" made which will be available in May 2019. We do offer a 11" that is strong enough to use as a BBQ plate, I have also personally used the 10" size (non Heavy) as a bbq plate for 4th of July and they held up just fine.
