CURT55416 Heavy-Duty Replacement Vehicle-Side RV Blade 7-Pin Connector, Factory Tow Package and USCAR Socket Required , Black

I installed this on my 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche. This new connector has been installed into the rear bumper. Installation was simple and straight forward. Use a 2" hole saw for the mounting hole, mark and drill 4 screw holes for the mounting screws. I used #6-32 x 1/2" screws and the nuts fit perfectly into the hex holes on the connector. No fasteners are included with the connector. This vehicle originally had the connector mounted to a thin, rusty and bent bracket on the trailer hitch. Note for Avalanche owners: I also replaced the factory installed hitch with Reese Towpower 96930 (exact same as Draw-tite 41930). It fits the frame well but requires 2 holes to be drilled into the frame rails.

Easy install only issues is the mounting screw pattern does not match my Ford Excursion's plug holder. I have 2 of the 4 screws in place and it works fine.

Easy fit to my truck. Removed the blank mount that retained the cable. Drilled 4 holes and installed bolts with nuts. Fastened socket mount to the truck bumper. Works well, no problems. Priced just right. Thank you.

Use it to replace the factory plug.mounted it into factory bumper on 2002 chevy hd .plugged into factory harness

Would no adapt to my vehicle

Works great was way better than my Hopkins one. Could not get a good connection with the Hopkins for the trailer brakes. This one breaks work perfectly

Plug and play on a 2004 Yukon XL 2500 after drilling a 2" hole in the bumper. I had some bolts laying around that were the perfect fit too. Very easy to install
