Comfortable while it lasts
Unfortunately it didn't last long as it started deflating after only 5 nights camping which is especially bad considering a deflated mattress won't insulate well in the winter. Also this mattress is very heavy and bulky!

Warm but big
The self inflating feature isn’t awesome, definitely warm enough but once folded up is huge if you’re worried about space

Warm, spacious, tough as nails - but large pack size.
First off, I do love this sleeping mat. It's hefty R value of 4.6 means you're theoretically gonna stay warm in all but the coldest of conditions - and I find it pretty much lives up to that, though I haven't been out with it in freezing temperatures yet.The self-inflating feature is kind of a gimmick in my opinion. When I first got it, just leaving it to inflate by itself in camp simply did not work. I have had success in storing it at home with the valve open, in its inflated form behind the sofa when I'm not using it. Since I started storing it like this it does inflate enough to sleep in in maybe 10 minutes, but if you prefer a firmer mattress, you're gonna want to top it off with a breath or two anyway. That aside, the valve is small, unobtrusive, and easy to use, but you cannot connect an electric pump to it - though it does not leak at all once inflated. My only issue with this mat is the size. Due to (what I assume to be) it's foam insulation, it packs up bigger than other mats I have used or owned. If you are a backpacker or hiker like me and your backpack of choice is a smaller one (think less than 50-55ish litres) you might find yourself compromising on other aspects of your system just to get it in. I use a 66 litre backpack, and can get it in with the rest of my kit fairly comfortably, but it might take some tetris depending on the dimensions of your pack. On top of this, it's pretty heavy for a mat, so maybe not for hardcore ultralight folk. All that said, you absolutely cannot get a more comfortable and warm pad for the price - and even with the size issue, it's obviously still MUCH smaller (and also warmer) than a standart closed cell foam roll mat. So in the end I have to recommend it.
