This ball comes deflated. Once inflated, it is a basketball. It works fine. No air leaks or issues.

Great weighted basketball for training and looks great!
My son loved the yellow and purple colours of this basketball. This ball came deflated but was simple to inflate with any ball pump that you may have on hand. It is easy to differentiate this ball from his other basketballs. This one is heavier than others, and due to the extra weight, is excellent for passing and dribbling exercises. My son is enjoying playing with this ball and hopes that it will help improve his basic basketball skills.

Good Weighted Training Basketball
Got this to help son with dribbling. The ball is a little heavier than regular basketballs. The ball is just as described and pictured. It was easy to pump up (you'll need your own pump and pin/needle for balls) and the material feels good, seems like good quality construction. Haven't had this ball for long so can't speak to how well it holds up after some time.
