A good value in Geiger Counters
Let's face it, this is not what NIST is using. However, this thing is impressive for the price. Does the job. As long as you are not using it for peer-reviewed published science it works just fine.

This is a nice, compact, rechargeable radiation detector. The documentation is rudimentary, only describing device functions.Good addition to your Go bag, along with some potassium iodine tabs.

Amazon does what it says.
The first one I received seemed very light in weight. Once turned on. Nothing happened. So I returned the unit, and Amazon replaced the unit without question. The second one arrived a day later and it worked perfectly. Amazing service Amazon. thank you.
