Morel MPS 4.400 70W x 4 Car Amplifier

Fantastic amplifier for the price. Lowest noise floor in this price range undoubtedly. Surprisingly it doesn’t get “insanely hot” like I see from reviews. Stays just as cool as my LC4.800. This is my first AB amp and I have to agree that vocals are significantly warmer and have better tonality. Has zero problem pushing status tweeters and mids. Even at high SPL I can’t notice literally any distortion or floor noise. Will be getting a pair of the 2.150s in addition now that I feel the price is worth it based on my phenomenal experience with the 4.400 this far. 10/10 would recommend over any other amp in its class!

Had high hopes but was rather disappointed. Sounded too laid back which made music sound boring and lifeless and the bass was seriously lacking compared to other amps I've used in the past. It probably needs a bass boost function like the others but it still gave me the impression that these amps can't handle bass all that well. Just wasn't for me.

Update - currently running from a Sony HU with 5 volt pre-outs streaming Tidal and to JBL components with an added 2” dome midrange. Wow! Loud and clean. Gains are at zero and this system can scream with no noise and no distortion. JBL Nano sub for fill. Highly recommend this amp.Original Review- Paired with Pioneer 80-PRS high-end head unit, (inherited) Kenwood Excelon speakers, (and Infinity sub). As you would expect, zero noise (5V+ preamp), super clean no distortion, relatively small footprint given class A-B. Was hoping to be "wowed" but it's just okay. Vocals seem to be emphasized. Tweeter seems a bit harsh and muddy. Maybe I'm losing some aspects of my hearing (not trying to be funny). Ended up going with an inexpensive Alpine class A-B that's on Amazon for an unreal price of $140. Will update as I tinker with the system more. I have to disagree with the few reviews I've seen/read that say this could be more powerful. There is enough juice here to make most any speaker reach its limits for beyond-safe listening, i.e. I listen to it pretty loud and this amp has room to spare. For driving a sub it seems to have just enough.

I’m an audiophile and I’m very happy with this amplifier. Nice sound stage and warm. I purchased this amplifier and had an issue with two channels cutting out. I contacted the seller and they immediately offered to replace the unit. The issue ended up being my line output converter randomly failing. Would buy this product again and would buy from this seller again.

THD % and SNR ratios on this amplifier are phenomenal. The gains and filter adjustments are cleverly hidden behind the plate on the top, so once you set them, there's no chance they could get inadvertently changed. I initially set the gains to 3/4 and was going to adjust up/down a bit from there, but 5/40 volume on my head unit was already fairly loud. I ended up setting the gains to about 1/4 to get a loud listening level at 20/40, which gave me much better volume resolution on the low end, and still way more volume on the high end than I need.

I like how it can take high level or low level imput.I also like the technology that it uses to make the speakers sound so good.I bridged this amp to power my door speakers.

The amp is f@#$_&g awesome combined with their 6.5 inch coaxials. So clear and so loud. Morel makes a great product and World Wide Stereo got it to me fast, in one piece and provides great service.

Morel sweet and warm laidback sound.Even sound better than my focal FPD 4 channel amp
