Non-Proprietary "Perfitech GOLD 2.0" Blade System for Babyliss Trimmer. Blade replacements to fit models FX707z, FX787, FX726, 1 shear blade system with two (2) screw fasteners.Good quality, very sharp and well functioning blade with close tolerance yet not so close as to bind nor so loose as to allow for uptake of dander, light dust, dirt or other fouling. Being carbon steel, they cut quite well, and come a bit more lubed than is necessary so clean them while leaving a VERY LIGHT coat of oil of the system, especially the contact faces of the shear blades. Any light tooth to tooth contact of the tooth faces of the shear blades will quickly resolve itself to leave good, neat and even, smooth run shear face contact. Run it for a few minutes before cleaning to remove the excess lube. Very good quality at good price point for non-proprietary blade, and highly functional with neat, sharp cutting ability. I found better performance through a very light coating of lube across the carbon steel blade stock, especially until you run it through an hour or so of "break-in" running, which promoted good, clean and neat lines. No significant burrs, even at proximal end of the single blade fastener that affixes the spring clip tensioner system to hold the shear faces together. Close examination of the prepared replacement blade system with manual manipulation of the shearing blade faces as well as installed and running appears to show very good tolerances not only at contact shear faces but also at polymer shearing yoke and shearing ball/socket joint, and as much as one can tell from such an examination it appears that one can expect a long and successful life span with high shearing performance without wallowing out the ball/socket joint or distorting same to the point of losing the much desired exemplary fit and finish of the contact shear faces that could tend to promote uptake of dander or face to face binding. The manufacturer appears to have used a light oil between the carbon steel shear faces and a light opaque grease where the ball/socket joint makes contact for side to side shear run. In ran the system for a good 15 to 20 minutes, removed the replacement blade set then the spring tensioner clip to clean the set before replacing the tensioner and then putting the replacement blade system back onto the shears. This may well not be wholly necessary, but I would run it a bit then clean off all but a very, very minimal sheen of lube between the shear faces.Recommendable item at a good and fair price point comparable to BaBylissPRO proprietary replacement blade system. They function as well and cut as clean for me as proprietary blades for much less than BabylissPRO replacement blade systems.Definitely a recommendable replacement blade system that performs quite well and maintains a good edge for a significant amount of time. Cuts good, clean lines!

These worked great for a couple months! Very functional but would recommend to be extra careful because I had a few teeth break off just bumping them:)
