Easy to put together
I bought two and made a 25 foot long clothes line. Very sturdy material. Will last for years. I deviated from the installation directions. Did not install polls as deep in the ground as directions stated. I made the holes about 4 inches shallower so the polls would be taller and clothing would be higher off of the ground.Less chance of heavier larger items dragging on the ground.Overall we are very pleased.

Even better than I expected!!!
Unless you are using a retractable clothesline, you need to order 2 of these posts. I knew this, but it would seem, from some of the reviews I've read, that folks don't realize this item is a single post.I'll begin by saying that this t-post is much nicer than I expected and I am delighted with the quality. The powder-coated finish is bright white, smooth, and beautiful. The diameter and strength of the post is great! This will truly last me a lifetime.Delivered lightning quick, as is always the case with Amazon! I highly recommend that you look at 6 each: Ace Wire Cable Clothesline (74121) and Minky Vt86602000 Mega Grip Blue Clothes Pins, 18-Pack. I purchased both and now I look forward to hanging laundry. That particular wire is braided for a low stretch factor, and is covered with PVC sleeve that will not stain your clothes! Nylon rope will pull knits and delicates, and unbraided wire will stretch with load over time. I spent a lot of time researching all of this, so I'm glad to save you all the reading I did. The clothes pins are a little pricey, but they are strong and well-made ... expect them to last. I also purchased Pop and Fold Clothespin Bag, which attaches right to the clothes line and slides along with you.The reviewers that complain about the posts twisting obviously don't have the 2 outside lines at the same length and tension. This is not rocket science. You can also drill a hole near the base of the top section and install a set screw. So far, I've not needed the set screw, having the outside lines at the same tension is working great.Instead of placing these posts directly in the ground, which would have shortened the clothesline considerably, I anchored some steel pipe in the ground with Quickcrete, and this posts slips over it. PVC pipe should work as well, but I had some steel stuff left over from another project, so it didn't cost anything extra. This way, I can also take the posts down during the winter months when I probably won't be hanging clothes.Take a look at the photos I've uploaded to see the post up close. I will update this review should the need arise, but I doubt that it will be necessary. More than pleased with this purchase!!!***UPDATE*** Still loving my clothesline setup! I wanted to let you in on another product that has really enhanced this setup. Using Nite Ize F9L-02-01 Large Figure 9, Black to put up my lines has worked out so beautifully. You do not have to tie knots, and if your lines becomes slack over time, you can tighten them up in seconds. It also makes taking the lines off the posts quick and easy. Found these kinda accidentally, but what a find!!I also elected to install only 3 of the lines ... the 2 outside and the middle. More room between the lines allows more air flow, but if you have a ton of laundry, you might need all 5 positions.***UPDATE*** My clothesline setup made it through Hurricane Isaac without even so much as a droopy line! Isaac was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time the eye passed over our farm, but we still had winds up to 60 mph for hours. The bag full of clothespins stayed on the line too. I am even more impressed than I was originally.

So far so good.
The pole itself is strong and the white paint is more like an enamel that wont chip off too easily. I don't know how it's going to be since it is not one solid pole. I will have to do an update if it doesn't hold up. I was happy that there was enough pole to bury in ground with cement and it still be tall enough above ground. I made my holes a little to wide so the 80 and 60 lb. bags of cement wasn't quite enough, ( I recommend 2 bags of 80 lb cement mix, 1 bag per pole.) Make sure that you have enough big rocks laying around to help fill the hole and help your poles stay steady while cement is setting up. The hardware is good enough. I bought the used poles, the hardware was missing on one plus there was a dent in one of the poles, there was a discount given as a result of that. I ordered new hardware from Amazon. I give it 5 stars overall because If I bought brand new ones, it wouldn't have been any trouble. 4 stars for the rest because I think that it is overpriced, they don't tell you how much cement to use in the directions and I don't know if a 2 piece pole is as sturdy as 1 solid pole.

a value-added investment for laundry day
For the price, these metal clothes poles are a good deal. However, they are wobbly where the horizontal and vertical poles meet. The company should have included 4 small corner braces to secure the T-top to the pole. I fixed the problem myself by buying 4 small white metal right-angle shelf brackets for less than a dollar each and attached them for support with some metal screws. Problem solved and the poles are otherwise great. I should mention that they are very sturdy poles and have withstood having all four lines loaded with laundry in heavy wind on many occasions with no problem I'm glad I bought them and my sister took my advice and bought a set too.

Great clothesline!
Arrived quickly, clear directions for assembly… husband used an auger and post hole digger , filled holes with gravel and concrete as directions said. I have used several times already, with heavy rugs, blankets, and sweatshirts loads hung out on extremely windy days, and the poles are strong and sturdy enough to withstand the elements and they look nice too. I would highly recommend!

Love these
We had some that my parents dug up and have to use when we bought our house many years ago. They were over 35yrs old and finally rusted through so we bought these. They arrived in perfect condition and very easy to put together. Much sturdier than the old ones and I love the fact that they are white. We took the advice of another reviewer and installed PVC pipe inside for extra support. Plus with our expienece with the old ones we new this would be helpful. We concreted them in about 20” down And they look good. We put steel coated line up and made sure to tighten the two outside ones to the same tension so the T joint doesn’t wobble. We will be using these for many years to come.
