ECHOGEARMini Grommets EGAV-CMIWM2 (Black)

I used this product to route a Cat. 6 ethernet cable and a power extension cord straight through a closet wall. The supplied drill bit made creating the correctly sized holes very easy. The collars slipped right in, and the wings rotated out and secured it well. The rubberized insert went right in, and I was good to go. One thing to keep in mind as you’re installing... if the cut of your wall hole is less than 1 inch from a stud, you'll want to make sure that you rotate the collar before you insert it into the hole such that the outward rotation of a securing wing will not cause it to come in contact with the stud and prevent full extension. It's OK if the wings extend upward and downward. It is not required that they extend to the left and right.

Love using these to hide wires. Easy to use.

The description is of the outside diameter. Nowhere on the item page does it show the inside clear diameter which is most important with something like this. Why is this measurement so clearly left off of the page? The 2.5" grommet that I received has an inside clear diameter of 1-3/16". Much too small for my needs. I will be sending back and ordering the larger size. It looks like a quality product though.

These appear and function as advertised. Installation was a breeze, thanks to the correct hole saw being included.

It included the drill bit which is nice.
