Fluid AudioStrum Buddy Stick-On Guitar Amplifier with Overdrive, Reverb & Chorus DSP Effects

I'm actually fairly impressed with it. Certainly the design could use an update to add control of the levels of the effects, but I knew there wouldn't be before purchase and still bought it.It's not loud....not even slightly, but the sound quality is good and I have a very specific purpose for it. I have a major gig coming up and I hate using PA systems. It's a quiet audience as it's basically more art than music, but the guitar I want to use is not greatly loud (cigar box tenor guitar). This will very slightly increase the volume of it, and it should be enough to carry the soundFor it's actual purpose (travel practice amp) this will definitely do the job, and it will be a great conversation piece. I have not had any issues with unexpected background noise, it's going to have a negligible amount as it's not a top of the range amp and is in a tiny form factor that has to be light.I like it, it's definitely something that should exist and this is a decent execution of the concept

Easy to fit, use, connect. Great for me. I've tried it on the 2 acoustic guitars that have on board pre amp with volume, bass, treble and middle. Fast charge. Really enhances the overall sound/tone of the guitar. Stays on instrument as long as surfaces are clean. Love it.

Effective and easy to use. Relies on guitar volume control to set output level, so overdrive effect is not really working with my guitar. Would benefit from a compander stage to boost input to ensure overdrive is less output controlling. A useful device nontheless and i am pleased with my purchase.

For a speaker this size, the sound is as good as you could ever expect. I spend a lot of time in hotel rooms and it's ideal. I'm sure it'll sound good with humbuckers, but personally I've only tried it with single coil Strat and Tele... The effects are an added bonus and again, for something this compact they sound fine. Reverb has a pretty long pre-delay, but is usable and sounds pretty silky when not digging in. So long as you're looking for a highly compact bit of kit for convenient practice sessions, you can't go wrong. Delivery was great too (next day)

Having read many reviews I was expecting more than I actually got with this amp. The operation of the three effects buttons is difficult to say the least. It's not clear which ones are turned on and which are off and as they are simply part of the black rubber molded case and they don't stand out. The sound output, even taking into account the small speaker size, is disappointing. The suction cup only sticks to shiny varnish finishes and drops off my two semi-gloss guitars. It's had very little use since I bought it. I think the price is too high, £30 would probably have been a fairer price. I wouldn't buy one again and can't recommend it as a useful product.

Easy to use, good sound.

This is a very neat design and gives a good quality sound for practicing or playing in a small area. It s a nice size just to keep with the guitar and then you can play anywhere. Effects are basic but work well. Have tried with several guitars and works great. Highly recommended, and a very well implemented concept.

Once the volume from the guitar is set it's very enjoyable to use.I'm planning on doing a little first time busking in a quiet, semi enclosed space and I'm pretty sure the sound output will be adequate for this. Might be interesting trying a cable splitter and connecting two of these to one guitar - perhaps pairing this original model with the Heavy Metal one.
