Q: Can this flip all the way up?

Yes. The top orange part (where the blade is) flips up to nearly 90*. I highly recommend the saw. I’m very happy with it. Buy a new/better blade though.

Q: Does anyone have issues with breaking blades? i've gone through four blades since april. i put one on saturday morning and it broke sunday afternoon

I have to saw yes and no. Yes I do when others use the saw. When I only use it no I don't. The quality of the blade you buy has a lot to do with how long they last, cheap blades tend to crack at the welds. Good quality bi-metal blades seem to last the longest and my saw
