Worth it
Great add on to my 45acp. Sturdy and high quality steel. Fit and finish are exceptional. 200 rounds on range day today and the compensator performed flawlessly. A slightly noticeable improvement in shooting. The small details make the difference and this certainly does not disappoint.

It may require fitting, like any other gun part.
Did require the slightest bit of fitting - for my Tisas it was super tight, but would still go in place with a good twist. Added a few drops of oil and dusted with talcum powder, inserted into the sludge, twisted aggressively back and forth several times, and presto - polish fitted perfect. Overall fit us now quite tight and the accuracy is notably better.Honestly, the only real recoil reduction this type of comp provides is the extra weight at the muzzle end. I rebarrelled mine to .400 Cor Bon, and the extra bit of mass on the slide combined with a slightly heavier recoil springs keeps it from battering itself to death. I put one on my Springfield commander for the same reason - my carry load is a +P 230 and this makes it the same size as a full length 1911 and helps with preventing the sludge from beating the frame to death.

But with understanding, it may not fit
The look is professional but the fit is questionable and does not workwith all gov size 1911's. I have a 1911 45 acp gov size and this product would not install on it properly. When it did install the slide rubbed the top of the frame when clambering a round.Not as advertised.

Hard to install and remove once installed
Looks good and seems to work well, its just hard to install and remove once installed when you need to clean the weapon

Looks very good quality but had to return it since it doesn’t do anything much for recoil management as a muzzle
