Got this for my wife's birthday as we had a beach vacation upcoming. Some other reviews mentioned it arrived in somewhat of a mess, sand everywhere, etc, so I was slightly hesitant to purchase. However, I figured if worst came to it, I could open the package and rearrange things if need be, before gifting it to her. I went ahead and ordered it, and everything arrived packaged exactly how it should be! The wife thought it was really cute too!As others have noted, it does arrive with sand already in the bottles (which is a bit odd since the point is to collect your own) but I was able to quickly dump it all out and place the bottles back in the package no problem.

Used this for our beach trip last year of the sand and shells we collected while there for a special memories we made. Love the product and worked perfectly for displaying our memories.

Ordered twice both came broken & barely any sand/shells . Rip off

I was surprised to see the bottles came prefilled with sand. I can easily dump it out, but I thought it was strange because that's the whole point of this item...to collect sand from your travels.The center containers wooden heart came broken. I can glue it. But definitely a bummer to have something come already broken. The last issue is that there is no glass panel on the front. So you need to be very careful that you don't dump the glass bottles out. Again, not a deal breaker, but it would make the piece a lot more user friendly.

I love this keepsake box, but I did change the turquoise writing color to a lighter more beachy one. I also dumped out all the sand and shells to use my own. I bought this a while ago and just now took the time to write out the beach names with black vinyl and I love the way it turned out! I only wish I got the bigger one with the picture in the center now.

I did like the Idea of this but it was not quite what I wanted. I have sand from all over and need to find a way to display. This comes with sand and shells and would be nice if that is what you are looking for.
