Schaeffer Manufacturing 266 Citrol Cleaner and Industrial Degreaser (3 pack)

This stuff cleans everything auto or RV related. Bugs, oil, tar, etc. I am one that usually gets the bugs off pretty quickly. After they stay on a few days it gets difficult...not with this stuff, comes right off. Spray it on, wait 15 seconds, wipe it off in a circular motion with microfiber towel. With tar spray it on and watch the tar start to run as it breaks down. Again, wait a bit and wipe in a circular motion with microfiber. In addition, the rubber slide seals on my 5th wheel rub a black stain area on the slide outs themselves. I car rub it off with a lot of elbow power but with this it was spray and wipe off. Wonderful stuff. I then ordered 3 more in order to give one to my son who is a big car geek.

Use this to get some fresh tar off of my truck after county decided to repave earlier than their given notice. Tar was all up and down the sides of my truck. Try to bunch of stuff and nothing seemed to work without some serious elbow grease. Then I tried this stuff what a difference. Spray it on let it do its thing and gently wipe it off and repeat till your stands are gone. Worked wonders and didn't hurt my paint one bit. Would recommend this product to anyone and would definitely buy it again!

Got this as a gift to remove some tree sap/droppings from a Chevy pickup that has a good finish on it with clear coat in good condition. Removed the sap/droppings with some effort. Cleaned some stains on carpet inside the truck also. Most stains were removed and some were just less noticeable but happy with the results. Stains had been in the carpet forever. Overall I like the results of this product and will be purchasing it for myself for above mentioned issues and experimenting with a few others.

I discovered thus product a few years ago. This stuff is awesome. 1-2 year old tree sap on a cars paint, no problem. It basically just melts it off. (Spray. Let it sit, and it will literally start running off the surface, wipe, might have to do it a couple of times) I love this stuff.

For the past few months now I've been trying out every over the counter Bug & Tar removers that is sold at automotive stores. I drive through an area where there are some super bugs or something, because I tried to remove them with products I know shouldn't be used on paint (lacquer thinner, acetone). An old man told me about this product and he said "If this doesn't remove them, then you will need to sand & buff the paint". This was my last hope to remove these bugs, I ordered on his recommendation and I'm glad I did. I sprayed it on, kept it wet for 3-5 minutes and then rinsed with a pressure washer. I didn't scrub any thing and it still removed all of the stains from the mutated bugs that was dirtying my paint. I'm glad I bought this product, because I still drive through the area with the bugs from hell and I will need this again. I'm just wondering if they sell it by the 55 gallon drum.

I worked for a state agency, we used this cleaner to remove tar and grease build up. Holy cow, its worth the price!! This stuff is my absolute favorite!

I've used other citrus solvents that make you skin burn from exposure. This stuff is a little milder. The flat spray pattern helps jet off mild debris fairly well. Breaks down oils and grease fairly well. Will need to rinse off with water after using in engine bay or on painted parts. It will etch paint.

I honestly can't believe I waited so long to try this product. With other retail level products, there's still so much elbow grease needed to remove stuck on bugs and tar. This stuff is absolutely AMAZING! Just spray it on, let it dwell for a minute or two, and wipe away. Not only is it great for that, but also for tape/sticker residue and much more! You can see from the pictures that I was able to remove a piece of old duct tape that a customer had on the windshield for who knows how long. After spraying it on, I let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute. It honestly didn't take very much wiping or a whole lot of pressure to get it off with ease! I'll definitely NEVER buy those bug and tar removers from stores anymore.
