There is something about the way that it smells that my cat likes and he keeps wanting to eat it. This is probably not a good thing for cats to eat. So, keep it out of reach of your cat's mouth.

The media could not be loaded. I use this thing all the time. I keep mine at my desk and when I need to set my guitar down I can quickly grab it and twist it onto the neck with one hand and safely lean it against something. By twisting it onto the neck the soft foam stretches open to accommodate all size necks. Fits great on all my electric guitars, basses and acoustics.

My husband loved this Christmas gift. It makes changing his guitar strings so much easier.

The Neck part was pretty small, but I got it to work. Maybe it will loosen up with use, but it's basically foam rubber. Wasn't very stable with the guitar resting in it. Surprised at the quality with the D'Addario name on it. I'll have to give it a try next string change, but extra care will be needed.

The black foam material is super sturdy and firm, yet very lightweight. It will not mar the neck finish or leave any residue behind.I have used it to lean my guitar against the wall without a stand, and as long as you don't smack into it, it will stay up.It is also useful for doing guitar maintenance if you don't have a dedicated workbench. It provides plenty of elevation and stability to do string changes and fingerboard cleaning, though the outermost strings do get under the foam, so you have to make some adjustments as you work.Overall it is a neat little accessory that is a good substitute for the fancier leather or wood/cork neck rests you might see on a luthier's workbench.

Works great on all of my instruments! I particularly like that it holds on to the neck of my guitar while I'm restringing. Very stable. This makes restringing, polishing, etc. much more comfortable!
