These are great for fine motor skills with lacing. Great for practicing sorting shapes and colors. They are a great size for younger kids who may mouth them since they aren’t a choking hazard.

This is a fantastic toy for learning colours, shapes, patterns counting and developing fine motor skills. I use it all the time with my 20 month old grandchild.

I like the size, quality and colors. I received 151. Tons of yellow ones, over 50, mostly triangles. See my pic. So there is no pattern in the distribution. I want them for my kiddo’s sensory table so they are perfect. Also, we will work on shapes, colors and counting Plus no risk of chocking.

The bad: It does not appear there is quality control on the buttons. As you can see from the picture, I had a couple mis shaped buttons. One of the laces seems like it is a different type than the others in the pack. The description says "This bag has an equal mix of 4 colors." This is not the case. I tried to evenly split the shapes/colors into 2 bags so my son could have 1 set at my house and 1 set at his dad's but the amount for each shape/color did not come out even.The good: I received a few extra shapes which is good because I did have 2 items that were mis shaped. The pieces are big. The hole size seems appropriate for laces. It will fulfill its purpose of teaching shapes, colors and motor skills.

I got 136 buttons: tons of red (which is more pink) color. Also, received 6 strings: green, red, yellow but no blue color.

I went against the advise of negative reviews and I'm glad I did! I actually got more than 120 pieces. The only issue I had was I was using them for multiple activities including sorting. They came with 6 strings. 2 red, 2 green, 2 yellow. No blue. That's my only complaint and I can easily fix that.
