I am a complete beginner so I don't have any real point of reference, but I can tell you my experience with this jump rope. I had the local jump rope which felt short to me and couldn't do skipping for even 15 seconds without it hitting my feet or head due to it being short. But that never happens with this rope, I am 6'3 for reference and as you can see, it still has some extra rope left, about 3 inches both sides.The handles were very comfortable, they are different from the usual local ones but definitely better than them. The rope seems durable and the entire jump rope is light in hand. Comes with a nice pouch to store it in and an extra lock in case it breaks. It says it has a 30 day warranty but hopefully I wouldn't need it.
