I love these charging cables. They're a good value for their durability and reliability.But here's something you should know about them: They're meant primarily for *charging*, and in my experience do not offer consistent support for data transfer between USB 4 or Thunderbolt 4 ports.What's frustrating is that these cables *sort of* work for data transfer. For example, you can use one to connect an external hard drive to a laptop (Samsung and SandDisk SSD's to a MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro chip in my case). The drive will appear (mount) on the computer, but you may not be able to access all of its files. In the worst scenarios I've experienced, this imperfect connection creates the appearance of malfunction and significant data loss on the SSD.It took some cable swapping and troubleshooting to determine I was confusing this charging cable for a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 data transfer cable.Hopefully this review spares a few folks the unnecessary cold sweats I've had while using these for transfer.

Anker is a great aftermarket apple product. Everything I've bought from them is excellent.

This cable is heavy duty and works perfectly to charge my phone rapidly.

Great product - charges super fast. My original one broke after a few weeks, but Anker refunded me quickly after I wrote a review. I'll order a new one.

I’ve bought Anker IPhone charging cords 2-3 times. They last 3-6 months or so and then the USB-C connector breaks off while in the charging receptacle in the IPhone. Apple’s cord is even worse. The cord splits and frays (long-standing problem). I haven’t found a good charging cord yet. It’s been 13 years on IPhones. Maybe time to switch back to android.

I got this I May. So when it broke a few days ago, I didn’t think anything of it other than “maybe it has served long enough”, even though May to date isn’t so long anyways. I came here to order another (which I’m still going to do) and for some reason I went to look at the reviews again. Turns out the tip breaking isn’t a thing peculiar to just me, as at least one other reviewer so far noted the same. I think this should be looked into as this has great potential to be one of the best out there. And Anker is a brand that has built itself a name. Anyway, like I said in my title, when it worked, it worked great. Charged real fast, like in the twinkling of an eye. Which I love(d) about this cable. And that’s why I’m reordering, regardless.

Great cable, have had it in my car for going on a year with no issue. Bought an Anker car charger port to go with it.
