I like that it came with an extension cable but the connection wasn't super secure since it just slides over the plug. I don't think anything bad would happen other than it may come loose when using (so far that hasn't happened). It provided 100W to my laptop with no issues. Great travel charger so you can charge not only a laptop, but phone, watch, family's electronics, etc.

Been about 7+months of use, and it does what I need it to do. I chose this product for three main reasons: (1) the 100W output on specific ports, (2) overall power output max of 170W, and (3) the optional use of extension cord or direct plug into wall socket. The first is so I can power the more power consuming laptops, and the second for using multiple devices (however, note the output specifications here or you might not get what you expect). For the third, see the complaint below.I especially appreciate it when USB chargers list the output specifications on the item itself (as it is more convenient than trying to remember or pull out the product manual/leaflet), though the prints are so tiny I have to use my phone to magnify it for these very aged eyes. Still, the output specifications really helps to make sure I get the maximum use out of the ports.My only complaint is that the power cord for extending the power connection from charger to wall plug has loss its "grip" over time, and now easily slides off the prongs. One of the reason I chose this charger is so I have the option of pluging the charger directly into the AC power socket if in a convenient place, or use the provided extension cord to reach an AC power socket if not. For example, when I'm traveling, the hotels I stay in have desktop lamps that have AC sockets on them. I can plug the charger directly (without needing to use the provided extension cord). However, when I'm in an office, there is no AC power socket on the desk, so I need to use the provide cord to connect to the power socket, so I can have my charger sitting on the desk. With the end of the cord that fits over the charger end losing its grip, the use of the extender cord is no longer safe, so I no longer use the cord. Even if the tape the extender to the charger, I wouldn't feel safe using it as I'm not sure if the connectors are properly fitted. Luckily, I did have a two prong extension cord that was laying around that I could use (and their cheap if I had to purchase one). So not too much of a problem, just not as neat looking.In any case, the charger still works great, and for the most part does what I need it to do. I would buy it again.

This charger can handle simultaneously charging a laptop at 100watts and a tablet at 45 watts, all other smaller chargers I've tested have large voltage drops (to the laptop) when attempting this.The charger gets quite hot when charging both devices but nothing too concerning. This seems to be a more advanced version of GaN tech.Additionally it's well balanced and sits nicely on a wall outlet. The optional extension cable snaps into place tightly, great addition to the package.

The detachable cord falls right off and no longer stays connected after a couple of trips. I tried to use it without, but it's so heavy it will just fall out of the wall socket rendering it useless. It's hard to find a super fast charging station that has several ports like this.

This GaN charger is one of my favorite that I have because:1. It has a LOT of USB C ports and 2 USB A ports - wonderful2. It's 170W which is much more than most other chargers in this size range3. It comes with this unique cable that allows you to plug into the wall OR plug directly into the wall without using the cable at all, while using the same set of prongs on the back. This allows me to stow away the cord unless the extra extension is absolutely needed. Most of the time I am close enough to an outlet to just plug this in directly but it is nice to have this extra cord as an option.Overall for these reasons this is one of the best most versatile chargers I have in my collection.

This 170W USB PD/GAN3 charger packs some power. Most of these types of chargers just have a built in wall plug that they expect you to plug into a wall outlet while the charger itself is to heavy it can barely stay in the socket unless it is in a horizontal one on a desk or floor. This particular charger comes with an extension/power cord so you can easily plug it into a vertical outlet without ripping your wall down (lol). I think all of these power bricks should be designed like this right out of the box. Depending on what all you have plugged in determines that amount of power distributed to each port at any given time but having 100w power delivery is great to charge a laptop (not some gaming laptops that require more power) if your device can use power delivery. I have been using this to charge my many USB power banks and it has done a great job so far.

The charger is a glorified power brick in all the good ways. I brought it along on a business trip and was able to charge a laptop, two iphones, a watch, and two 10mAh batteries at the same time. Normally I have to look for several outlets in order to do this, but I was able to pull this out and plug straight into the desk outlet and get to work. It comes with an power cable that you can use if the original outlet is too far. Considering all of the things I had plugged in, I was expecting for it to get quite hot but it just stayed as warm as my computer. Everything was charged in the same or less time than when I plug devices into their original charges, which is a huge plus. If you have gaming laptop, consider the larger version of this charger in order to use it as a power supply.
