Wonderful tent.
I bought a CORE tent and quickly returned it because water got on when it rained (yes i know how to tent. I wanted something with good ventilation but also a full fly to keep dry in the rain, because that’s the most important thing, right?I love that the inner tent is almost all screen for awesome ventilation and the ability to sleep in the breeze with the fly off. The poles are thick and heavy duty and the pocket mechanism for the ends of the piles is neat.Putting the tent up is a total breeze. 2 minutes inner tent and 2 minute fly and stakes with a friend. It is super easy to put up alone as well. One last thing - the zipper on the inner tent works like a dream. It really is a nice design. The zipper on the fly gets stuck sometimes it i find it ok.6 person is ENORMOUS. Like 9’x10’. It’s super tall too.Note that it doesn’t have a plastic, tarp material bottom, so factor in getting a footprint or a tarp. I got a 9’x12’ tarp for $20 that works good with just one fold.

Spacious, good quality,
We used this tent on a 10 day camping trip to Utah. It held up in extremely windy conditions in Zion. It was nice and spacious, for two people to have a cot and be able to move around. It is nice a tall. My husband could stand up. Set up is very easy with 2 people. It’s. A little tricky as a short person, but once you’ve done it 2 times it’s fine. Love the colors! The only down side was that there as very little or next to no ventilation when the fly is on. It needs another window. Worked fine for us. We just waited until night to put the fly on. Over all I really like this tent! It did not rain on our trip.

So disappointed! I’m loosing respect for KELTY
I’m having no luck with tents this season. First, I purchased an ACADA, which I had saved up for. It came damaged with holes. Never got through to ACACIA customer service. But Amazon made it right. So I say to myself, you should’ve just gone with Keltey. I had a Keltey for years before it had to be retired. Soooooo I ordered this tent. I’m older now so it’s important to have a tent I can put a cot in and stand up in. So I liked this for its simplicity in putting up and able to stand up to change. This tent was nowhere near the quality I expected from Keltry and have known in the past. It came damaged. The cheap clips to snap in the rain fly were broken. There was a seam that had totally missed being stitched so it was a gaping hole!Yet one more return to Amazon. I’m just gonna have to go to REI. And get a quality tent.

Set this tent up in our backyard and it went up easily. Looks pretty nice. It would be great to have windows though. Quality seems to be ok other than waterproofing tape looks loose on some seams. This tape was inside sticking to the wall of the tent. It looks like a piece of waterproofing tape and it is covered in bugs. Its gross to find that in a supposedly new tent.

Held up in Rain & High Wind
Upgraded to this 6-person Kelty because the kids are getting bigger. Like most tents the amount of persons is always 1 less than what they state when it comes to comfortability. You can pack 6 people in there but its going be tight, works great for 5 people and some gear.I always look for a tent with a rain fly that has 100% coverage and this one has that. You don't have to worry about staying off the edges, causing your things to get wet.Took it out this weekend in the Red River Gorge, KY for its first use and it got put to the test right away. It kept us and our gear dry through about 12 hours of rain on the first night. There were a couple hours of heavy rain that had us worried but it held up great and remained dry.The second day brought high winds(gusts up to 60-70mph). We had to leave camp and stay in a clearing for about 6 hours while trees toppled over. We came back to camp afterwards and this tent held up through it all.Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. Super easy setup, sturdy, roomy, and will keep you dry.
