This book is so informative! Very educational and fun!
As a person who has always been skeptical about veganism in general, I was amazed by how much this book has to offer! From the detailed guides on international travel destinations including vegan history, dietary information, memorable locations to visit, and precautions to take when visiting, you would definitely want to pack this book in your luggage. For those who choose to vacation closer to home and still want to enjoy themselves, I also appreciated the staycation chapter as it offers a wide range of ideas for activities including taking local tours, classes, local events you might find in your local community, and ideas for short distance traveling. The included recipes, lists of resources, online links and free download-able guides are a wonderful bonus to this amazing guidebook. A very enjoyable and useful resource!

A Must for Vegan Travelers
If you travel, this book is for you. If you are a vegan, or vegetarian, this book is for you. If you are BOTH, this book is DEFINITELY a must read! From the history of, cultural aspects of, and nutritional/biological aspects of veganism, to a bucket list of destinations, this book is such an educational read, as well as useful. Each destination on the travel bucket lists gives so much practical information on what to see there, events, where to eat and even how to order in that language. Fascinating. And, as with all Todd Sinclair books (and I have read them all), there are apps and so many resources that there is no way you can’t have all of the info you need! Don’t miss this one!

Valuable guidance for vegan travel
Todd Sinclair covers everything you need to inspire you and support you in your vegan travels. He first provides a great background on the history of veganism across the globe - which really gives perspective on the far-reaching and historical impact of the vegan movement. The guide offers insights into coping with the impacts of COVID on travel, on planning and packing for your trip, and coping effectively with possible challenges or setbacks along the way.And there is a great guide to several countries and cities you may want to visit - with suggestions for spots to visit, veg-friendly restaurants, and resources and tips to help you get the most out of your visit. What a great guide - it's inspiring me to get back to travelling and to enjoy the vegan delicacies across the world. Angela Crawford

You Can Travel as a Vegan and Stick to your Diet
Being a vegan doesn't need to put a crimp in your travel plans, not with the information in this book about vegan apps, tours, and vegan-friendly accommodations.Sinclair's story of turning vegan in Vietnam and then being welcomed into a restaurant to which he had brought a tour group not long before as a meat eater, is incredible. There they brought him his favorite dishes as they remembered them, while he barely remembered them at all. The beef based dishes no longer served him and not wanting to insult them he explained the changes in his life, met with the chef, and together they designed new dishes that met the vegan requirements. A powerful testimony about shared values and the changes one person can make in the world.

Very Organized book
I would like to state up front that I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, nor do I want to be. However, I do enjoy hearing people's stories and gaining different perspectives about a whole slew of topics. That has led me to this book Vegan on the Go by Todd Sinclair.I really enjoyed hearing his story that led him to veganism and I enjoyed reading about the history of veganism as well. He talks about how Covid changed a lot in how people travel and he shares his story in how it changed him.He gives practical advice for those who wish to travel and maintain a vegan lifestyle. He asks you to consider cost, time, well being, eating in or dining out. He suggests using apps to help keep track of things to make things easier. There is a chapter he put together of 15 different countries to visit that have beautiful sights to see and are very vegan friendly. He gives a lot of information about each country to give you an overview of the possibilities. He gives tips on how to eat vegan in each place. I have been to Italy a long time ago and I personally would love to visit Australia. He next takes you through a number of cities and gives you the best tips of eating vegan in those cities. He mentions Berlin, Buenos Aires, London, and Portland to name a few.I think the thing that I loved the most is he talks about making the most of being a vegan while doing a staycation, because sometimes, you just can't afford to go to other countries.Overall, I think Mr. Sinclair has written a well thought out and well organized book. If you are a vegan and you are interested in travel, I think you will enjoy this book a lot.Oh, I almost forgot. I loved his the section talking about bringing useful tools on your trips so that you can cook while on the go. He gives quite a few recipes to make it easy for you. I am quite interested in giving a few of them a go myself. I like the sweet potato stir fry recipe best!
