Verbalized a vague idea and method I've been using for years!
I've been a GM for 20 years, and this book puts together a bunch of philosophies I've had for years and coalesces them into a method that I can apply to my games going forward. The method really makes sense and helps simplify and streamline the process of creating campaigns and goals.I very, very rarely five-star a book, so the fact that I am five-starring this one says a lot. It's a really phenomenal resource, and I suggest that it will help all GMs whether experienced or brand new. You will get a lot out of the content of this and be able to really refine your story crafting methods as well as provide games your players will feel far more deeply connected to!

Fresh lnsite For My Sessions
I had a really wonderful experience reading this book, as well as loved the new fresh insite into how to run my game sessions. There were something's I was already slightly doing, but I seriously plan on adding a lot more "Proactive Roleplaying," in my games as well as gaining more insight from my players in planning, adventuring as well as much, much more!I actually really love the Insite as well as fresh ideas from John & Tristan Fishel.

Information I didn’t know I needed to know.
There isn't too much to say really. I’ve been running roleplaying games for a short while and looking for inspiration to improve my players experience as most DMs do. I picked this up in hopes to get ideas but the more I read, the more I’m realising that I could be SO much better. It’s basically a book that helps you understand the principle of tabletop games and why people enjoy them. It’s all well and good writing and running a game with lots of fancy twists and turns but this is teaching me that being proactive with my storytelling will allow my players to feel like THEY are in control of what happens and provide a more fun experience. Whereas running a reactive game is basically hand holding your players through predetermined events. This has taught me that reactive roleplaying is basically leading your players through a novel where they have no control over the outcome of anything. I obviously want to bring more freedom so this book has helped me immensely in such a short time.Highly recommend along with the other books in the series.

Fun book
Some interesting ideologies in the book. I can see the benefit after having read through it.

An engaging book that every ttrpg group should read
This book helps reduce dm fatigue and possible burnout by helping make the players help make it a shared game. But the dm trying to come up with every possible conclusion while remaining impartial AND not railroading. This game made my game into a Westmarches sandbox campaign.
