I purchased it for our 40th wedding Anniversary celebration, which was very small (just my husband and me) because of the Pandemic.It's a beautiful board. Very smooth. As I was wiping it for use, I noticed a tiny sliver of bamboo, less than a hair's thickness near the compartment that holds the board utinsils. I gently rubbed it with an Emery board. Otherwise, it is perfect for entertaining, etc. We enjoyed it!

Beautiful smooth wood finish sturdy tools in drawer
Great for cracker and cheese and other snacks. The indentation around the edge is perfect for round butter crackers. Good enough to have out on the counter all the time. The tool# inside the drawer are sturdy and work good. There are indented areas for the tools to keep them in place.
