As a whole, this is just a piece of plumbing. I used this to help set up a bidet in one of my restrooms, which has worked well for over a year so far. It is made of quality metal, the handle makes it easy to quickly turn on/off the water to an accessory (like a bidet). Ask yourself, would you rather save a few $$ or be more confident you're plumbing won't fail and cause a much more expensive mess? well if the extra few $$ spent are worth it then I would recommend this

I purchased a bidet attachment from Amazon for one of my toilets. The Tee supplied with the bidet leaked and was a pain to get to stop leaking. After about 2 weeks the Tee started leaking again at the nut that connects the Tee to the flush valve tail piece, and got the floor of the bathroom wet. I started looking for a replacement and found this one. It had good reviews and I ordered it. The old leaky Tee was removed and this new Tee installed. The only issue I had with this fitting was that the the outlet to the bidet control valve was 1/2" NPT and the hose was a 3/8" compression. Luckily I had a 1/2" NPT to 3/8" compression adapter handy and used it to adapt this Tee to my existing hose (it pays to keep leftover parts from a project). It has been in for a few weeks now, and there are no leaks. This Tee has a handy on/off valve that can be used to isolate the bidet from the toilet flush valve. The original Tee supplied by the bidet manufacturer is currently located in the landfill. I would recommend this fitting if you can't get the Tee supplied by the bidet manufacturer to stop leaking.

Lived overseas for 9 years. All the toilets had these. Because they aren't heathens rubbing dry paper on their bums, spreading poo around using handfuls of paper. If you have an elementary understanding of plumbing and MEASUREMENTS related to plumbing this works perfectly. If you wing it and have no idea what your pipes and it doesn't fit. Shocker coming.. its not the product...it's you.

I accidentally threw away my bidet T-valve during a bathroom renovation. This one matched the specs of the original OEM part. (which would have taken over a week to arrive, if I'd ordered it!) It adds the ability to easily turn off the water to the bidet, which makes cleaning the bidet a little easier. It also looks great, was easy to install, and has smooth rotation. It's an upgrade!
